Wisdom for The Day

This looks like a nice horse for sale so I’ll give a few helpful hints when you’re shopping for horses. Now I haven’t seen any videos of this horse and I have no idea if it is sound but what I can tell you is this looks like a horse that it seems could and has been willing to take care of green riders.

It says late teens GRADE meaning it’s not registered so it’s real age can be up for debate. But does it matter? If your kid only gets five years out of the horse, but the horse takes care of the kid and the kid never gets a scratch on it because the horse is so good does money you spent on it really even matter? That being said if it’s going to be good enough for children to ride, it’s probably a good first horse or a confidence builder for an adult as well.
Why do I believe it’s a kid’s horse look at the saddle when you see a picture of a horse with a kid on it look at the saddle is it a child sized saddle with kid size stirrups? Or is it an adult size saddle that somebody just put a kid up on a horse and took a picture? I could probably put a kid up on my two-year-old long enough to take a picture, doesn’t mean she’s anywhere safe for a child. This horse actually looks like she does get ridden by kids.

If anybody’s looking for a probable uncomplicated horse to ride for the next undetermined amount of time (aren’t they all though?) Maybe look into Gerdy.
