Hi! I’m Brittany, I’m located in Zephyrhills, FL and raise Silkies as a hobby. I love these goofy little fluffballs and I’m always happy to answer questions and help when I can! 🐥💕
A few quick things to know:
1️⃣ FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED
Birds are available to whoever pays first or picks up and pays in person.
I often have multiple people asking about the same bird, so simply saying “I’m interested” or making plans does not reserve a bird. Until payment is received, I will continue talking with other interested people.
This keeps things fair and prevents anyone from wasting their time. 😊
2️⃣ PLEASE BE PATIENT
I work a full-time job and have a family, so I’m not always able to respond immediately. I do my best to answer everyone as quickly as I can, but please understand that sometimes it may take a day or so. ❤️
3️⃣ BIRDS MAY BECOME UNAVAILABLE
I reserve the right to change my mind and keep a bird after posting it as available. Sometimes I decide a bird needs to stay in my flock, and that’s that. 😂
If I remove a post, it simply means the bird is no longer available.
4️⃣ REHOMING FEES / TRADES
My rehoming fees are flexible, and I’m open to reasonable offers and trades for goods or services.
I accept cash, Venmo, Cash App & Zelle.
Please feel free to make an offer, but please do your research first. Silkies require a little more care and attention than your average chicken breed. 🐥💕
5️⃣ ASK QUESTIONS & DO YOUR RESEARCH
I’m always happy to answer questions and share what I know! I believe in learning, improving, and doing what’s best for the birds.
📅 PICKUP APPOINTMENTS: Please only schedule a pickup when you are confident you can make it. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just communicate with me, life happens! However, I will not hold a bird indefinitely or wait around for extended periods without communication. If you are more than 20 minutes late without contacting me, the appointment may be considered cancelled and the bird may go to the next person.
If you’re new to Silkies, please don’t hesitate to ask questions but I also encourage everyone to do their own research before bringing one home. ❤️
