Position 1: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Full-time | 32–40 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced veterinary assistant who is comfortable working in a busy small-animal practice and can contribute to the daily flow of patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the veterinarian with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats.
Collecting samples and assisting with laboratory procedures.
Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized hospital.
Monitoring patients and supporting the medical team.
Providing excellent, compassionate service to clients and their pets.
Requirements:
Previous veterinary assistant experience is required.
Strong animal-handling and restraint skills.
Dependability, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy veterinary environment.
A genuine commitment to patient care and teamwork.
Position 2: Part-Time Veterinary Float
Reception / Veterinary Assistant
We are also seeking a flexible, team-oriented part-time employee who can help wherever needed, including both reception and veterinary assistant duties.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting clients and answering phones.
Scheduling appointments and assisting with client communication.
Supporting veterinary assistants and the medical team.
Helping with animal handling, patient care, and general hospital duties.
Keeping the hospital running smoothly during busy periods.
Qualifications:
Previous veterinary hospital or animal-care experience preferred.
Reception or customer service experience is a plus.
Comfortable working with dogs and cats.
Organized, adaptable, dependable, and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
