🐾 Meet Khaleesi! 💕🐶

Khaleesi came in today for her heartworm test, ProHeart 12 injection, and Leptospirosis vaccine! ❤️ Keeping up with routine preventive care helps protect our four-legged friends so they can spend more time doing what they love. Khaleesi obviously loves lake time, and gets to enjoy it without the worry of heartworms or Leptospirosis! We love getting to see our patients' adventures outside the clinic, too!

💩 Ever wonder what happens after we collect a f***l sample from your pet?

It’s a little more involved than just putting it under the microscope! 🔬

We mix a small portion of the sample with a special f***l solution and prepare it for a f***l flotation. This helps separate parasite eggs and other microscopic organisms from the rest of the material so our veterinary team can examine the sample under the microscope.

It may not be the most glamorous part of veterinary medicine, but checking f***l samples is an important part of keeping your pet healthy! 🐾

🐾 Meet Rocco! 🩶🩵 This handsome Cane Corso came to see us today for his neuter, and we couldn’t resist a photo with his surgery nurse, Alyssa. Not only did Rocco steal the spotlight, but these two accidentally coordinated their outfits perfectly! 😂 Rocco was such a sweet boy for his visit! Get some rest and heal quickly, Rocco!

🐾 Meet Ike! 🐾

At a whopping 176 pounds, this Great Dane is proof that the biggest dogs can have the gentlest hearts. ❤️

Ike came in today for lab work as part of his ongoing NSAID therapy for CCL disease. Regular bloodwork is an important part of long-term NSAID use because it allows us to monitor things like liver and kidney function and make sure his medication continues to be as safe as possible for him.

And in Ike’s case, that medication has made a huge difference in his quality of life! 🥹 Being more comfortable means he gets to keep doing the things that make life good—just with a little help from his veterinary team.

Our receptionist, Makenzie, was especially excited to see him today!❤️ She absolutely LOVES Ike, and honestly, we can’t blame her. Just look at that face!
