Our washing machine is currently down. We are trying to locate a part for it. If we cannot locate one at a reasonable price, (Wascomat wants $8,000 for a new one) we will not be doing horse blankets anymore. We've been given a contact who may be able to make one at a more affordable price. We're waiting to hear back from them.

We're posting this because people are calling us wanting to drop off blankets. We cannot take them right now. We'll update this page when we know more.

We are starting to get calls about blanket washing. Currently, the washing machine is down. It looks like it needs a motor that we may or may not be able to get, so for now, we are not taking in any blankets. If we can get the part, and get back up and running, I will post it here.

Fingers crossed they can find the part.

We have up to 2 stalls available for the right horse / horses / owners to join our farm. Please pm us if interested.

Small group turnout, Timothy orchard grass hay, alfalfa available. Trails and outside arena.

We're looking for part time help in the barn. Feeding, turnout, stalls, general barn chores. Must have horse experience and references. Right now, it will be Fridays and other days as needed. Please message me if interested. Someone who wants to partially work off board is possible.

Putting out an ask for volunteers for the raleigh dressage show the weekend of July 27 & 28. I know it's hot, but we need to give back to the sport if we want to continue to have shows in our area.

Also need a farrier if you know anyone.

We've had several people ask if we will be holding any shows this spring. At this point we will not. Luci and I have multiple things on our schedule that preclude holding shows this year.

We have an opening for barn help. Feeding, turn out, bring in, stalls, general barn chores. Part time, currently looking for 3 days per week. Possible living quarters down the road for the right person. Must have horse experience and references. PM us if interested.

2 stalls power washed today. Getting stall ready for new boarder coming in at month end. Still working our way through the last 3 batches of blankets.

When it rains it pours......

Cold weather is getting closer and people are suddenly realizing their horse blankets are still dirty. Barn is full of blankets. Well and water pressure issues have slowed us down and now the glass in the washing machine door is broken. Looks minor, but the shape of the glass normally keeps the blanket buckles from getting caught. With the chip out, that function doesn't work. And, of course, it leaks... We called the repair man, but it's Saturday, so we won't hear anything back before Monday at the earliest. No idea how long it takes to get a new glass, or if we have to replace the whole door....

We will have a stall available for a well behaved horse and no drama owner. We would prefer someone who would like to work to reduce board, but full care is available for the right person and horse. References required, preferably from someone we know. This is a private farm with excellent care for your horse.

No pasture board.
