Good news for anyone who woke up and immediately thought, "You know what my day is missing? A shelter dog."
We're open today starting at 10:00 AM, and Tiny Sirius would like to submit his application for consideration.
Tiny Sirius.
What is a Tiny Sirius? We have absolutely no idea. We assume one of the staff members had a reason for the name, but at this point that information has been lost to history.
What we do know is that Tiny Sirius is a 1-year-old Yorkie mix who weighs just 7 pounds. He's a little underweight, but otherwise appears healthy and ready to find a family of his own.
Tiny Sirius did well with his dog-to-dog assessments and seems to enjoy other dogs. Someone recently met him with hopes of turning him into an agility champion, but Tiny Sirius wasn't quite ready for his Rocky training montage. He's a bit shy when meeting new people and would much rather ease into new situations at his own pace.
Once he settles in, we think he'll make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a small, energetic dog to share life's adventures with. Whether that's neighborhood walks, supervising household activities, or helping you determine whether that snack is really something you should be eating alone, Tiny Sirius is likely willing to assist.
Potential adopters should keep in mind that Tiny Sirius will require regular grooming throughout his life. He needs a grooming appointment now, and keeping a coat like his looking good requires both time and financial commitment.
If you've been looking for a tiny dog with a lot of potential, stop by and meet Tiny Sirius today.
