Well… we unexpectedly have a VERY tiny newborn who needs our help. 🥹♥️

This little one is under 3 ounces, still has their umbilical cord attached, and is officially a bottle baby.

The good news? Baby is warm, safe, and eating! 🥹

The other news?

🐾 HOW TO ADOPT FROM THE CHATTY CAT CAFE

We get LOTS of messages asking, “Is this cat available?” or “How do I apply for this cat?” — so let’s talk about how adoption through the cafe actually works. 💕

And most importantly: Our adoption process starts by MEETING the cats.

🐱 STEP 1: VISIT THE CAT LOUNGE

This is the whole reason The Chatty Cat Cafe exists. ❤️

We want adopters to spend time with our foster cats, get to know their personalities and find a cat who is genuinely a great match for their home and lifestyle.

A photo can tell you a cat is cute.

It can’t tell you that they’re a professional lap warmer, an independent little roommate, obsessed with playing, happiest in a quiet home, or the kind of cat who follows you everywhere.

And sometimes the cat you came in thinking you wanted isn’t the cat you connect with at all.

THAT is the magic of adopting through a cat cafe. 🥹

We strongly recommend spending at least an hour in the lounge and meeting everyone before deciding who you’d like to apply for. Let us know when arriving for your reservation you are interested in adopting so we can show you all the cats we have available.

🐈 STEP 2: FIND YOUR MATCH

Once you’ve actually met the cats and found someone whose personality feels right for you, talk with our team!

We foster cats from multiple rescue and shelter partners, so we’ll make sure you receive the correct adoption information and application for that specific cat.

📝 STEP 3: APPLY

Applications are reviewed by the appropriate adoption team/rescue.

Submitting an application does not reserve a cat or guarantee an adoption. Our goal isn’t simply to find a home — it’s to find the right home and right personality match for each cat.

⏰ STEP 4: GIVE US A LITTLE TIME

Applications are not processed instantly and may take a few days. Please allow the adoption team time to review your application and contact you. If approved you usually hear back within a few days up to one week.

Once approved, we’ll coordinate the next steps for bringing your new best friend HOME. 🥹🐾

🚨 IT IS STILL TECHNICALLY MILO MONDAY. ADOPT MILO. 🚨

Yes, it is 9 PM.

No, that will not stop us.

Because Milo is still here, and frankly, we need to have a conversation.

Milo is young.

Milo is sweet.

Milo is playful.

Milo LOVES kittens.

Milo would also like everyone to understand that he is obviously supposed to be the boss of the house.

That isn’t an attitude problem.

That is leadership experience. ✨

Milo is pure orange-cat energy with just a tiny sprinkle of Sour Patch Kid mixed in:
