Just got home recently from bringing this feral little guy in to get fixed. It was an all day thing , but knowing that someone out there was responsible enough to catch him, and to pay for his surgery. And are keeping him in their bathroom until he heals. They didn't have to do anything. They could look away and complained like alot of people out there about our cat population problem. Some people may have contributed to it by dumping them off at cat colonies without fixing them, maybe because they didn't wanna deal with it. I can vouch that the majority of our non profit rescues are in the red. We personally had to borrow from the bank for our last batch of hay. We had one donation for our hay drive. And we appreciated it. Thank you. We also appreciate our wonderful supporters who show up at all of our benefits and helped with donations. You know who you are, and we love you. And we have received food from our wonderful friends at Cal Ranch. They actually care for animals and the community. Also in the last couple of years we have received a few donations from Walmart. I cant tell you how much that helps. With bedding, potty pads, diapers, cleaning supplies to clean up kennels for all of the dogs. And in the past, alot of rabbits and reptiles, Cat litter for a heard of cats. Lol horse feed containers, suppliments and snacks for ALL of our 4 legged, sanctuary, family members. . They all ended up here at the Sanctuary because they all needed another chance. To trust again, to feel loved for the first time. To know that no one is ever going to hurt them again. Lets all do this together Yuma, one animal at a time. Or more.
