💧 Dehydration can happen faster than many horse owners realize.

When horses sweat, they lose more than just water, they also lose essential electrolytes that support normal muscle function, circulation, and temperature regulation. During exercise, hot weather, transport, or illness, these fluid losses can add up quickly if they aren't replaced.

Recognizing signs of dehydration is key to preventing more serious complications like heat stress, poor performance, and delayed recovery. Just as important is having a hydration plan that includes free choice access to clean water, daily salt, appropriate electrolyte supplementation after heavy sweating, and feeding practices that encourage water intake.

Swipe through the infographic to learn some common signs of dehydration and practical ways to help keep your horse hydrated all year long.

Stop the data centers. End A.I.

🚨 ARIZONA: A massive message just appeared across a desert field outside Phoenix, and drivers along Loop 202 reportedly couldn't stop talking about it. 🌵🚨💧

The giant message stretches across acres of open land beneath dramatic monsoon clouds rolling toward the Valley skyline.

It reads:

"IF WE DON'T START TALKING ABOUT THESE DATA CENTERS NOW... WE LOSE. WATER. ENERGY. OPEN LAND."

As data center development continues expanding across parts of Arizona, more residents are beginning to ask questions about electricity demand, water resources, land use, and what long-term growth could mean for surrounding communities. 🌵

Drone footage of the field reportedly spread across social media this week, showing the message standing out against the desert landscape with downtown Phoenix visible in the distance. 🌩️🏙️

Some locals immediately agreed.

Others responded with:

"Wait... are we sure we have enough water for all of this?" 😳💧

Meanwhile, somewhere in the Valley, a road project has entered its fifth straight season of orange cones, someone is arguing that 112° is actually 'not that bad because it's a dry heat,' and a confused tourist just touched a metal seatbelt buckle. 💀🔥

For many Arizona residents, this isn't about stopping growth.

It's about making sure growth happens responsibly.

Water resources. Energy infrastructure. Open space. Local communities.

These are conversations many residents believe should happen before major decisions become permanent. 🌵💧⚡

From the outskirts of Buckeye to the neighborhoods surrounding Phoenix, more people are asking how Arizona can balance economic development with protecting the resources that make life in the desert possible.

Because once open land is gone, it rarely comes back.

And whether you agree or disagree, more Arizona residents are starting to think this conversation deserves attention before the next wave of development arrives.

Want less dangerous horses, develop your skills and abilities as a horseman or horsewoman.

That horse that is dull and lacks responsiveness.
That horse that doesn’t have much for brakes.
That horse who is reactive and cant settle.

They’re all DANGEROUS.

Should they all be put down?! No…

What needs to happen is the root cause of the problem needs to be addressed.

There are some horses that’d be better off moving on from this life because often times those extremely dangerous volatile horses are tortured souls within. They became that way one way or another- and usually not on their own. Yet they are very few and far between.

As horse lovers we bring these horses into our lives. As professionals we take on the responsibility for doing what’s best for the horse.

The cop-out is slapping a label of “DANGEROUS” on the animal and passing that horse down the road.

If you’re overfaced, that’s fine. Admit it, find a professional that can help- and DO NOT blame/label the horse.

It’s easy for people to say, “oh that’s just how he/she is..” rather than taking responsibility for helping the horse find a better way of existing physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

That label sticks and will follow that horse for years- maybe even the rest of their life! It’ll impact every interaction that horse has with people… and when it’s a negative label it usually makes those interactions less than enjoyable for the horse.

So you need to be real careful about what you say about each horse. What you say may just be a life sentence for that horse.

You get what you focus on.
Want more problems, keep focusing on the problem.
Want a solution?
Focus on the solution.

Develop better skills, deeper knowledge, a greater understanding, clarity in communication. It’s a never ending journey. Focus on that. Quit blaming the horse.

Do your part and hold the horse responsible for their end.
