Come out to meet our adorable puppies! It's going to be a red carpet Puppypalooza weekend, with our tiny Tarantino pups making their iconic debut! 😎 Also new to our line-up are Pipkin and Fiver, the *cutest* terrier mixes anywhere. Let's find these little pumpkins the best families ever!

Don't overlook our many older pups. With over 40 puppies available, there's truly a pup for every family. Please tell your friends!

Looking for an adult? Ask our staff for their top picks. We have so many wonderful dogs of all ages looking for happily-ever-after.

Our FREE weekly socialization classes are back ! Did you know that regular socialization helps your pup develop confidence and learn appropriate behavior around other dogs? Plus it's fun for dogs AND humans, and dogs of all ages benefit from the positive environment. In this week's Spotlight article, our staff writer describes her experience of socializing her shy rescue pup and learning how to communicate more effectively with her dogs. 🎓

Our FREE socialization classes are held every Sunday from 10AM till 12PM. All dogs are welcome (pups should be 12 weeks old and have their vaccines). Please call ahead in case of cancellation.

Looking for a unique volunteer opportunity? You're welcome to attend class with a Rescue Ranch pup! We have dozens of adolescents growing up in the shelter who need socializing and practice on leash. You can help us give these pups the basic skills they need so they can be adopted! To volunteer as a puppy handler during class, please come a few minutes early and speak with our office staff.

🐶 Dogs of the Week: Introducing Thelma!

Gentle, serene, contemplative... these are the words our caregivers use when describing this sweet wallflower. Thelma was born in the Vistas and came to us with several siblings back in June. She's been waiting to be noticed ever since! 🥺

With her calm, thoughtful personality, Thelma was made for quiet family life. Though she's less rambunctious than some of her playmates, she's still plenty playful and curious. She'll blossom in a family with children or another dog to keep her company. Thelma knows how to Sit for her meals and is working on her leash manners. At her age, what she most needs is experience out in the real world--and in a real home!

Let's find thoughtful Thelma the foster or forever family she deserves! 🏡

🐶 Dogs of the Week: Introducing Billy!

Who's this happy boy? Why it's Billy the Kid! This butterball has been in our care since June and he's still hoping to rope a forever family. 🥲 He's just the friendliest, lovingest, joyfullest pup around. And he's only an outlaw when it comes to sneaking food from the other pups--we promise! 🤠

Billy is working on his leash manners and rides quietly in the car in his crate. He's super socialized with other pups his age as well as his adult nanny dogs. So we think he'd thrive in a family with another pup to play with. But what Billy wants most is some kids to toss his toy and spoil him rotten. Cats unknown, but we think he's young enough to learn appropriate manners.

Let's rustle up a forever family for this wonderful pup! 🏡

Hi guys!! I was driving my nephew to his baseball practice and saw this guy almost get hit by 3 cars.

I opened my car door and he immediately leaped in and got comfortable in the backseat with my nephew. My nephew is insisting on calling him Butterfinger while we search for his family!

I have not yet been able to check his microchip as I am in Medford at baseball practice. If you recognize him please send over a message!

He is enjoying belly rubs and will get a pup cup on the ride home 🫶🏻🐾

Look who's coming to Puppypalooza this weekend! 👀

Introducing the Tarantino pups: Beatrix, Butch, Gara, Jackie, Jules, Landa, Marcellus, & Vega! These iconic little terrier mixes are approximately 10 weeks old and ready to charm your socks off. Little Butch is an outlier at about 12 weeks old (very likely a cousin). If you're looking for a small breed dog, this is your litter! We think these guys will stay quite small, probably < 25 lbs.

These cuties were surrendered directly to our Sanctuary crew and reunited with their shy momma Lottie when she was rescued from the Lake Shastina golf course last month. They have their first two vaccines under their belts and have passed their wellness exams with flying colors. They're ready to trade the red carpet for their forever families! 🤩
