Katie Haynes is a 22 year old and a Youngsville, NC native. She is currently she is severing as your 2022 North Carolina Miss Agriculture Advocacy Ambassador and your 2022 North Carolina People’s Choice Miss United States Agriculture.​​​​​​​​

Katie lives with many chronic illness and special needs. One of the main one being Asperger Syndrome. She choses to live everyday to the fullest and make the best of life! She wants to make sure no one gets left behind or forgotten about! Join Katie in helping make sure everyone has a place in agriculture despite obstacles have to overcome!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We got to attend the ECRBA and CPRBA rabbit shows for first time in about 18 months today! The girls did good at the show. Emma got Best of Breed in Youth for her blue Havana Senior Buck and Katie placed well in Open with her new Mini Rex rabbit Chase (named after Chase Elliott). They had the show at the Johnston County Livestock Arena with both bays open for fresh air to circulate and most folks wore masks. The girls had a good time and that is what matters too.

Emma Haynes won first place in the costume contest for the historical division in the National Rabbit Show this evening online. Her baby rabbit is dressed up as Anne of Green Gables. She even has the straw hat and carpet bag suitcase too!

Emma Haynes competed in the online contests for the National Rabbit Show that was supposed to be in PA this month but had to be changed to online. She won in the Arts and Crafts Division for her rabbit jewelry, photography, and poem. Great job Emma! Two Blue Ribbons and Two Red Ribbons!

Our Mini Rex broken black doe had three kits in the following varieties: broken black, black and a black otter

They're four days as of today.
