Hi, I’m Gwendolyn, Professional Biscuit Maker

I’m an 11-month-old black beauty with silky-soft fur and golden eyes that will melt your heart. I may be a little shy when we first meet, but give me some time and patience, and you'll discover a sweet girl who loves gentle pets, happy purrs, and being close to my favorite people.

When I’m feeling confident, my playful side takes over! I love chasing string toys, batting springs across the floor, zooming through tunnels, and hunting that mysterious red laser dot. Once I’ve burned off some energy, you’ll find me stretched out in a sunny window, curled up in a cozy bed, or enjoying a relaxing brushing session.

If you're looking for a beautiful companion who just needs a little time to shine, I might be the perfect match for you. Could my forever home be with you?

Please fill out an application to get pre-approved as an adopter. You can find the link in the comments below or in the bio.

If It Lands on Their Fur, It Ends Up in Their Mouth

Cats spend up to half of their waking hours grooming—and while this behavior is natural and healthy, it also creates a unique risk.

Many airborne and contact toxins settle onto a cat's fur, paws, and skin. During grooming, cats ingest these substances, turning environmental exposure into direct oral exposure. Unlike people or dogs, cats can literally lick contaminants off their bodies throughout the day.

Potential toxins that may accumulate on a cat's coat include:
• To***co smoke residue ("thirdhand smoke")
• Plant pollen
• Household cleaning products
• Scented sprays and air fresheners
• Dust, mold spores, and other environmental pollutants

Research has shown that cats exposed to to***co smoke have significantly higher rates of oral cancer and lymphoma, likely because smoke particles accumulate on their fur and are swallowed during grooming.

A cat's grooming habit keeps them clean—but it can also make them more susceptible to toxins hiding in their environment.

Gray kitten lovers, this one's for you! 🩶

At just 12 weeks old, Macaroon is the first solid gray kitten we've featured in quite a while—and he's every bit as sweet as his name. His adorable short tail is the result of an old injury that required amputation before rescue, but it doesn't slow him down one bit. Macaroon is a happy, affectionate boy who would love a playful feline friend to help him burn off all that kitten energy!

To learn more, visit our website (comments below). Let's help Macaroon find a home.

We like you to meet Maven, our handsome 20 week old kitten anticipating the journey to his forever home.

Maven (aka Romeo) steals hearts for fun and will have you falling in love right away. He's charming, fearless, and always ready for his next adventure. He’s the first to explore new spaces, dart through tunnels, climb the cat tree, and chase any toy that moves. He’s a tiny adventurer with big confidence and an even bigger personality.

He loves all toys — feather wands, tunnels, springs, balls…if it moves, Maven is chasing it. He’s wonderfully social and makes feline friends easily. Because Maven has so much playful energy, he’ll need a kitten buddy or a young male cat in his forever home to help keep him entertained and happy.

And when he finally slows down, Maven becomes the sweetest little cuddle bug. He loves stretching out beside his humans and ending his adventures snuggled up on your lap.

A fearless explorer, a playful rascal, and a total sweetheart — Maven truly is the whole package.

Interested? Read our adoption policies, submit your application, and ask to meet Maven. Take the adventure with him.

Do you have a plan for your cat or pets if something should happen to you?

We hope you are around for a long time but it's always best to have a plan in place, someone who will pick up your cat/pets, not take them to the shelter or put them outside, someone who will make sure they are in a loving home if you are not around.

It really doesn't matter your age but this is an important part of caring for your cat.
🐈 Talk to this person to make sure they are willing to take on this responsibility.
🐈 Don't just assume family will be responsible. So many times we find cats in the shelter because family didn't want them.
🐈 Let your friends know your plan.
🐈 Add plans for your cat to your will. If you are able you can leave some funds to care for kitty.

ā¤ļø And if you are the family or friend, what better way to show your respect and that you cared for that person than to make sure their loyal cat is safe and in a loving home.

After living their lives from kitten-hood in one loving home Puffy and Panda ended up in the shelter, confused, scared, and refusing to eat. This can be a death sentence for a cat. They are fortunate because Purr Partners pulled them from the shelter and into a foster home. Getting them to eat is urgent and always a priority. Fortunately the foster, after many attempts was able to find a food they would eat. Rescued in time, these super sweet seniors have adjusted to life in a different home and will adjust again in the loving forever home they will find.
Read more about these gorgeous senior bonded boys on our web site.
Must have a willing lap for Puffy and a sunny window for Panda along with snuggles for both.

Destiny is happy and enjoying life in foster care. This once very shy girl has made lots of progress in learning to trust people. Socialization has been important in preparing her for adoption. She is now ready for adoption but will appreciate another kitty companion for all those lively kitty activities she loves. Read more about her on our Adoptables page of the web site. You just might be the right home for this sweet girl.

Besides socialization here's a little of what each kitty experiences with Purr Partners.

Did you know that all Purr Partners kitties are tested for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), dewormed, treated for fleas, UTD on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and microchipped as well as being fully vetted with any health issues address and treated. All this before making the Adoptables page on our web site.

We're counting on you to help us spread the word about these deserving kitties ready now for their loving forever homes. Please share and leave us a comment.
FB's algorithm decides to share our post depending on how many comments we receive, more comments=more distribution.

Adopt, volunteer, donate, and share!
