🥱 we have all recovered from the yard sale and just wanted to thank everyone who took time to support the event. A big shout out to Larry & Donna Oros!! We did great considering the inclement weather!!

Last night, the world lost another amazing cat. But this morning, that cat’s amazing mom sent us this message:

“I recently lost my precious little rescue Birdie on May 2 and last night my cherished boy Mogley. They were both rescues and I am so blessed that they allowed me to give them another chance at love and life.

With that said, I want to donate to your organization in their honor. However, this would be to bring awareness of the commitment that is made when one decides to rescue. All of my rescues have resulted in having special needs or chronic health conditions that we never thought twice about devoting vet care, medications, and therapy for them. This not only extended their lifespan but also their comfort levels and security knowing they were loved and family.

I’m attaching 2 photos of them for you just because I feel they were absolute beauties (no one wanted them because they weren’t fluffy or kittens).”

So to Holly Gibson, your babies were absolute beauties. And they were so lucky to have a mom who took such good care of them and immediately wanted to honor them in such a beautiful way. We’re so sorry for the loss of your sweet babies, and we promise your donation will go towards giving others like them a chance. Thank you. Rest easy Birdie and Mogley 💜
