A LITTLE BREAK DOWN ON WHAT DOG GROOMING IS ACTUALLY ABOUT 🩷🩵🐶✂️🫧🐾

When you book a professional groom, you’re not paying for “just a haircut”.
You’re paying for time, skill, safety and care 🐾

Here’s what your dog’s groom really includes:
🧠 Professional assessment
Every groom starts with a visual health check including checking your dog’s coat condition, skin, behaviour, age, health needs and welfare limits. No two dogs are treated the same.

🧴 Prep & bathing
• Pre-groom checks
• Coat preparation & de-matting where safe
• Premium, coat-specific natural shampoos & conditioners
• Proper drying (not rushed — rushed drying damages coats & stresses dogs)

✂️ Skilled grooming work
• Full clip, hand scissor, hand strip or even hand-finished groom
• Breed-appropriate or owner-requested styling
• Safe handling throughout including aids
• Adjustments for nervous, elderly or sensitive dogs

⏱️ Time — real, one-to-one time
Your dog is worked on for the full duration of their appointment by one groomer — not rushed, not stacked, not conveyor-belt grooming.

🐕 Behaviour management & welfare care
• Reading stress signals
• Breaks when needed
• Calm, controlled handling
• Knowing when to stop for the dog’s wellbeing

👂 Hygiene details
• Nail trimming - full mani & pedi
• Ear cleaning
• Eye area hygiene - eye bogey removal
• Sanitary trims - poo clinker removal and A**l gland expressing

🧠 Experience & training
Years of hands-on experience, ongoing education, and knowing how to groom safely without causing pain, fear or injury.

🏠 Salon costs & professionalism
Your price also covers:
• Insurance & business rates which are sky high in a high street salon
• A luxury salon with all mod cons including heating, air conditioning, humidity control and full professional ventilation for your pets comfort
• Specialist top quality equipment & maintenance
• Utilities, products & hygiene standards
• Compliance with welfare, health & safety regulations including fire safety, electrical safety, professional body memberships and more

❤️ Most importantly — your dog’s wellbeing
We don’t rush.
We don’t force.
We don’t sacrifice welfare for aesthetics.

That’s what professional grooming actually includes.

🐾 And that’s why grooming isn’t expensive —
it’s skilled, responsible care 🐾

We dont charge nearly enough for the time and skills we have. As an industry we are very undervalued 🐶

We greatly appreciate all of our wonderful loyal customers and thank you for your business!!!
