York University Softball plays their LAST HOME GAMES of the regular season today at the Ballpark! Games at 12&2PM against Avila University. Free Admission, Free parking and the Concession Stand will be open! Swing by to cheer on our Panthers!

STERLING, Kan. – The York University softball team split a doubleheader at Sterling on Wednesday, falling 1-0 in the opener before posting a 9-6 victory in the nightcap.

This introduction to baseball/softball is designed for boys and girls who will learn and practice the basic fundamentals in a fun, energetic, and organized atmosphere. Players will also develop teamwork skills and learn how to be a team player.

When: Practices will start in May. Games are Tuesdays and Thursdays in June.

Time: Games will start at 5:30pm

Who: 5 – 7 years old, age as of August 1, 2026

Where: York Ballpark Complex

Fee: $30

Registration Deadline: April 19, no late registrations accepted

Coaches and team sponsors are always needed to make this league a success. Contact Talia at [email protected] if you’re interested in any of these options. If you commit to being a coach, we will reimburse your child’s registration fee at the end of the season.
Team sponsors: $100 fee and the business logo will be on the back of the team’s jerseys
Coaches: 2-3 coaches per team are needed
