Introducing: the Willow Roost U Had Me at Queso.

I had two definite keeper kids in mind this year before kidding season began. One of the kids on my wishlist was a buck or doe kid from our senior buck Montie as he currently only has one doe in our herd that he has sired. (The Willow Roost Midsummer Jubilee.) This girl is our pick and I'm going be one hundred percent honest, it doesn't hurt that she's blue eyed, moonspotted, and just plain pretty to look at.

We try to spend as much time as we can with our kids so that they are friendly when it's time for them to leave. One of my favorite times of the day to sit with them is in the evening when they're sleepy and cuddly and just want to sit beside me and chew on my clothes.
