Benson showed up at his current caretaker’s house while her family was on vacation. He is very sweet and sociable, but unfortunately she cannot keep him because her husband is severely allergic to cats. He has done well with his caretaker’s dogs and has stayed at her house for about a week. He is scheduled to get his shots on 9/11/2024 and appears to be lively and healthy. We love seeing pets romping around in the great outdoors (hence the theme of this website), and with warmer days approaching, there will be plenty of opportunities to spend more time outside with your dog or cat!

We want to see your pet having fun outside! Submit pictures of your pet enjoying a day on the beach, a camping trip, a walk through the woods, or a relaxing nap in the yard. Get creative, and get outdoors!

The winning photo will be submitted as the cover of an upcoming article. All other submissions will be featured beneath it.

Paprika and her brother Juniper were born from a stray cat under their current owner’s house. They both need new homes due to rules that prevent their owners from keeping pets. Paprika is very sweet and playful, and she loves to cuddle up on your chest and give you love and snuggles. She will follow you around like a baby duckling, very curious and observant. She loves rolling around, climbing in shoe boxes, running after little balls, and going nuts over crunching paper sounds and gift bag tissues. Laser pointers and string to chase keeps her happily entertained. She is very healthy, eats her food, and uses a litter box well. Please reach out if you’d like to bring her into your home!

Duke is a sweet Dorkie who was rescued from a flea market. His owner is very busy and is hoping to find him a loving family who can give him the attention he deserves. Duke loves to play and enjoys romping around in the great outdoors. He would be happiest as an only dog as he tends to play a bit rough. Duke loves treats, naps in his crate, and rubs.
