Happy Chicks Acre is a unique little urban farm. What sets us apart from other urban farms is that we have created this setting with our historical home. We feel that we are bringing our area back to its roots! Currently, we are working towards self-sustainability and hope to achieve this goal and be completely off-the-grid within the next five years. We also hope to become a community education c

enter, teaching youth and adults about living in a town and achieving sustainability. Megan and I thank everyone for the support and look forward to sharing our experience throughout the years.

This year has been exciting for us! We've worked out some growing pains, found out good locations for growing certain crops, mastered cat toy making/ growing catnip and we're gifted with a decent harvest! Can't wait until next season when we can finally get off the ground and go to the market to share our goods with everyone. We should have some wonderful oils, vinegars, and dipping oils! They will all be infused with our homegrown herbs!!!!

We currently have fresh eggs and cilantro available….Eggs are $2.50 a dozen and cilantro is $1.50 a bundle
Everything that is for sale is in the mini fridge on the screen porch…Items will change and increase throughout the year, so get ready!!!
