This LOWRIDER gentle giant is ready to steal your heart. At 9 years young, this handsome boy still has the spirit and energy of a dog half his age. Ironhide is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and couch potato. He loves going in the play yard and exploring the outdoors, but he’s just as happy lounging next to you, soaking up belly rubs At about 70 pounds, he’s a big guy with an even bigger heart.✅ House-trained✅ Great on Leash ✅well-behaved
Iron hide is dog-selective, so a meet and greet is required if you have another pup at home. Iron needs a home with No children

ADOPTED!!! Our sweet little Ducky has left the building and we are so delighted for him.
He was waiting anxiously to go home and was so excited to see his new Mom
Our simply amazing volunteer adoption coordinator Michele Rabinowitz Morello found this sweet little fellow a wonderful home the moment he walked in the door. Now that he’s been neutered he’s ready to start the new life he’s been so excited for.
We wish everyone a long and happy life together 💙🎈❤️

MEET ROCKY & RAMBO! These 2 amazing brothers were surrendered after living in a home for 7 years since they were babies! Shepherd's do not do well in kennels so just imagine how these 2 brothers feel. WE WANT TO KEEP THEM TOGETHER!!! R&R are both very friendly pups, who both weigh around 80 pounds each. They are very loving, super friendly & affectionate, love to play, and are happy being in the play yard. They do not deserve to be locked up in a kennel. We would recommend them going to a home with a yard, and older kids 13+ due to their size. THEY NEED A MIRACLE! PLEASE! MEET OSO BUCCO! Oso is AMAZING and one of our absolute favorites, HE IS LOOKING FOR A WATER BUDDY IS THAT YOU?? At just 2.5 years old, he has the perfect mix of playful and calm. He gets along with many other dogs, and has such a gentle, easygoing personality. Oso is happiest doing the simple things—toss him a tennis ball, give him a toy, or let him relax in a shady patch of grass, and he’s completely content. He’s the kind of dog who will fit right into your life and your heart 🤎

A HOME. 🏡

My name is Casper, and I feel like I’ve been waiting for a family almost as long as Knicks fans have been waiting for a championship! 😢

Instead of watching the game from a cozy living room, I’m spending another night in a shelter kennel at Yonkers Animal Shelter. The noise, the stress, and the loneliness are wearing me down.

But I haven’t given up hope that my person is out there.

💙 Sweet, loyal, and deeply devoted to his person
🧡 Smart, affectionate, and full of personality
💙 The kind of dog whose goofy smile can brighten even the toughest day

Casper needs:

Every day in the shelter is becoming harder for this young boy. He deserves a chance to relax, feel safe, and finally know what it means to belong to someone.

UPDATE ADOPTED!!! Thank you everyone who applied

MEET TINKERBELL! Tinkerbell is one of the sweetest little seniors we've ever met. At approximately 9–10 years old, this tiny girl is looking for a cozy, loving home after being surrendered through no fault of her own.

Everyone who meets Tinkerbell falls in love with her. Children adore her, employees want to spoil her, and she's a favorite among our volunteers. She has the gentlest soul and loves nothing more than being close to her people.
She'll happily nap at your feet, keep you company throughout the day, and if you're having lunch, she'd be delighted to help you finish it! 🍔😄 This little lady LOVES her food.

She would be the perfect companion for a retiree, someone who works from home, or anyone living in a small apartment. She doesn't need much space—just a warm bed, a full belly, and someone to love.

Trust us... if you meet Tinkerbell, you'll love her too. 🥰 Guaranteed.
