We are experiencing a concerning trend of injuries caused by large dogs lacking proper training. It is essential for individuals considering acquiring a large breed dog to prioritize early training to ensure the safety and well-being of both people and animals. Dogs that are not trained to be cooperative can pose a significant risk, as they are not capable of understanding compromise like humans. Without proper control, these animals can become unmanageable. Therefore, prospective dog owners should carefully consider whether they possess the necessary time and temperament to train a large dog or if a smaller, more manageable breed would be more suitable. Consistent and early training is crucial.
To maintain a safe environment for our staff and patients, we cannot accommodate repeated incidents involving large dogs without proper training. The safety of our team members is paramount.
