We need 5 people to say YES to 5 kids. 🐴❤️

Five local kids are waiting for scholarships so they can participate in our upcoming Horsemanship Connection Clinics at Lake Fork Stables.

It costs $100 to sponsor one child.

Our first clinic is September 12, so we're looking for 5 people, families or local businesses who will each sponsor one student.

Can't cover a full scholarship? That's okay! $25 sponsors ¼ of a scholarship and $50 sponsors half.

These scholarships provide opportunities for children on the autism spectrum and children with learning disabilities or similar challenges to learn, connect and grow through horsemanship.

Our first clinic is coming up soon - September 12th! Fingers crossed the temperatures will come down a bit or we will have to bump to at least an hour earlier. If you haven't signed up yet, we have three membership options available or you can purchase per course through EC Pro. You do need an EC Pro account, so click on Schedule Your Lesson at the top of the homepage at ridersup.org and add your student as a rider.

It was time for Baby Jack to join the big boys today! Jack was donated as a rehab of a torn suspensory back in November. He spent three months on strict stall rest and then joined Bubbles in the pony pen for several months after that because he was getting a little too rambunctious in the pasture and kept irritating his injury. He's totally healed now and it's time to learn how to be a big horse with Uncles Max and Simon.

Katie's Bad Boy, aka Rascal, is looking for a low key trail or pleasure home. He's a solid W/T horse but will need additional maintenance if you want to go any faster. His short racing history took a toll on his hips. He is currently on a forage based diet with Bluebonnet Joint Rewind and has just had four months of solid groundwork and ground pole training. He is super safe but doesn't like a heavy handed rider. He goes best in a hackamore or bosal. English or Western, but he seems to prefer western a bit more. More whoa than go.
