Yakima's Randall Dog Park Progress Report

This guy came through around 6:00 tonight. He drove very slowly and when I walked up to the fence to look at him he took off.
He seems to come around the 6:00 time frame

Has anyone encountered this vehicle at the dog park?

I have had two reports on this gentleman now.

Evidently it's a Hispanic gentleman, roughly in his early twenties. He doesn't have a dog and he sits in the car and watches people and takes pictures.

If you have encountered this, please be advised to take pictures of the license plate and of him personally if possible. Also call 911 and let them know.

I want everyone to be safe out there and be aware of your surroundings. We need to watch out for each other. Thank you

Does anyone know who the f did this? Yes I am angry. I am so tired of people cutting these hoses. it's just pi***ng me off. The dog park is not made of money to have to keep fixing these.
At some point I'm going to just quit putting hoses out.

Also, who keeps taking the hose off of the misters and what is the purpose of it?

Fyi-this guy is extremely nice and he is here with his dogs almost daily. I have nothing against him. Just how he handled it

Prime example of what you do NOT do at the dog park. He is on his computer. I kindly asked him to take care of his dogs by stepping them away from the gate and he claimed that he couldn't, he was on a time sensitive something on his computer. If you cannot take care of your dogs at the park do not bring them in. this is not a dog daycare.

As most of you know I have been working hard to get us things that would benefit the dog park. One of these things has been a shelter space for out in the middle and in the back.
I have finally been given the permission to put a Costco one in. This one will go in the middle of the park. If it works out and does not get damaged or vandalized I can put another one in towards the back.
I'm not sure of the date or time yet, however, I am looking for two to three people that work in construction that would be able to help build it. They would need to be bring their own tools. I will find out what those are later this week.
If you are able to help out, please PM me on here. It will take place during the week but again no time and date has been confirmed yet.
It is extremely important to understand that this will not be a metal structure like the other one is. This one does have the possibility of being vandalized so it will be more important than ever to make sure people respect it. I am counting on all of you to make sure that that won't happen.
If for some reason it does get damaged, we the park patrons are liable for it and it will not be cheap.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing how many people will step up for this.

To whomever is weeding at the dog park----I thank you.
However could you not do half a job and start disposing of the weeds as they should be over the fence. Not only does it look bad it's just work for me.
