ATTENTION ALL CATS (and the humans who are somehow employed by them):

We know your cat has very strong feelings about coming to the vet. They may tell you:

❌ “I can ride on Mom's lap.”
❌ “I promise I won't jump out of the car.”
❌ “I would NEVER hide under the brake pedal.”
❌ “I definitely won't turn into a flying ball of claws in the parking lot.”

THEY ARE LYING.

For everyone's safety, including your cat, you, other pets, and our staff, please bring your feline friend in a secure carrier.

A carrier helps prevent unexpected escape attempts, parking lot adventures, and the dreaded game of “Catch Me If You Can” around the clinic. 🏃‍♀️🐈💨

Don't have a carrier? No problem! We offer cardboard cat carriers for a small price.

🚨 Important: Any cat arriving at the clinic without a secure carrier will be assigned a brand-new cardboard carrier to take home. This helps us keep your kitty safely contained from check-in to checkout, and prevents an unexpected episode of America's Next Top Escape Artist.

Remember: If your cat can escape it, it is not a secure carrier.

Thank you for helping us keep your spicy little house tiger safe!

🎶 “WE ARE WORMS!” 🎶

Sometimes that’s exactly how we feel by the end of a busy day. 😂🪱
Behind the laughs, though, we’ve seen a big increase in urgent and emergency appointments lately. We know that when your pet is sick or injured, emotions run high, and that’s completely understandable. We love your pets, too, and helping them is always our number one priority.

We just ask for one small favor: please remember that the people answering the phones, checking you in, assisting the doctors, and caring for your pets are humans, too. A little kindness and patience go a long way, especially on days when we’re doing everything we can to fit in one more pet who needs us.

We truly wish we could accommodate every emergency that calls, but there are only so many hours in a day and only so many hands to help. If we’re unable to see your pet, it’s never because we don’t care.

One of the best things you can do for your furry family member is stay on top of routine preventive care and schedule an appointment as soon as you notice something isn’t quite right. Catching illnesses or injuries early can often mean simpler treatment, lower costs, and sometimes even the difference between life and death.

Thank you for trusting us with your pets, for making us laugh (even when we’re worming across the clinic floor), and for treating our team with the same compassion we strive to show every patient that walks through our doors. ❤️🐾

💙 It truly takes a village. 💙

One of the things we're most grateful for is the incredible relationships we have with the other veterinary clinics throughout the Yakima Valley. Veterinary medicine isn't about competition, it's about working together to make sure every family and every pet receives the care they need, especially during life's most difficult moments.

We are honored when our fellow clinics trust us to provide our In-Home Euthanasia services for their clients. Helping families say goodbye in the comfort and familiarity of home is one of the greatest privileges we have, and we're thankful for every referral.

And while your trust means the world to us... we certainly won't say no to the occasional surprise delivery of delicious treats! A huge thank you to our wonderful friends for brightening our morning with these amazing bagels. You know the way to a veterinary team's heart!

To all of our neighboring clinics: thank you for your partnership, your kindness, and for sharing in our mission of providing compassionate care throughout every stage of a pet's life. We couldn't do it without this amazing veterinary community.

Here's to supporting one another, and maybe sharing a few more bagels along the way. ❤️🐾
