Here at Companion Animal Clinic we are always welcoming new faces from interns and job shadowers.
Eric has been here for a couple of weeks now and plans to spend the bulk of the summer job shadowing until he returns to WSU in the fall. So far we have learned that Eric is a cross country runner, he has 3 dogs, enjoys shed hunting and loves to travel to new places.
From us Eric has learned the the ins and outs of day to day general practice Veterinary Medicine. He has has been able to see everything from routine annual exams, to dentistry and even a foreign body removal surgery. Working on technical skills he has learned the art of sweeping and mopping as well as some cooler things like catheter placement and suture practice.
Eric has been a joy to have around and we are happy that he has chosen us to hang out with for the summer. We wish him the best of luck in school as he pursues his career towards Veterinary Medicine.
