‼️Huge update‼️
Sadly a puppy from our first litter (Taking Flight Litter Vesper X Gil) has been diagnosed with primary Addison's. That paired with a puppy from our second litter (Chocolate Love Vesper X Mercury) passing from Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia I have decided it's not smart or fair to keep breeding Vesper.
Vesper is my foundation girl and an amazing dog. I am so thankful to have had her in my life and to have wonderful puppies from her with connections to amazing families.
There is no way to test or predict either one of these autoimmune issues when breeding, and can happen randomly. Though there is some hereditary components to both. It's not responsible to keep breeding a dog that has produced more than one.
I am incredibly sorry for the families and pups that have had to suffer through these conditions and wish so much I could have done anything to change it.
With that announcement I also want to include that due to a lot of extreme life circumstances I will not be continuing with standard poodles as far as breeding or showing. I have one mini poodle I hope to finish but right now I haven't been able to get her out to show in a while. I will always continue to provide support to the families who own the poodles I have brought into this world.
I have learned I undoubtedly can not predict the future or what tragedies will strike, or how things will improve. I hope to continue in dogs with my mini poodle and then another chosen breed I am, and always have been, incredibly passionate about. But I am not sure when this will happen. Probably years from now
I will keep things updated as I can. For now I am looking for a perfect home for Vesper, once she is spayed. She is a high energy dog and needs more stimulation than I can give her at this time. She can not live with chickens or cats. Cats she will harass and it's not fair to them. Please reach out if you are interested, she is incredibly sound of mind and not "bitchy" at all. She gets along with all types of dogs. I do not make this decision lightly at all.
Thanks for reading and your support.
