This dog is loose by our clinic and we couldn’t catch him. Be careful when coming down 40th/Nob Hill he is weaving out of traffic. He is skittish and didn’t want to come close at all. Hopefully his owner sees this and can catch him!

Rhea had surgery today to remove a growth from one of the toes on her right-front paw. The growth appeared two weeks ago and continued to grow, so her doctor recommended removing it and sending it to the lab for pathology.

It’s important for us to know what type of tumor we remove because they can be benign or malignant. Malignant tumors have potential to metastasize to other parts of the body.

For now, Rhea is recovering from surgery and we are keeping our hopes up for good news! 🐾

We will update everyone as soon as we receive her results. 🫶
