Legit question for everybody.

If you were browsing a feeder insect website, what kind of care guides or resource pages would YOU actually want to read?

I’m currently building out FruitFlies.com and adding new educational pages daily. The goal is to make the site more than just a store. I want it to become a legitimate resource for the hobby.

So throw me your ideas.

Anything involving:
• feeder insects
• fruit flies
• mantids
• jumping spiders
• bioactive setups
• mealworms
• reptiles
• amphibians
• invertebrates
• breeding feeders
• storage
• care
• feeding
• or honestly anything in between.

For every solid comment, I’ll build a real page around it and reply back with the finished guide as I complete them.

If possible, like and share the post so more people throw ideas in, but make sure you comment directly on the main post so I actually see it and can build the content.

We’ve been putting a TON of work into FruitFlies.com lately and I wanted to give everybody a quick update on what’s been happening behind the scenes.

Over the past couple weeks we’ve been heavily expanding the educational side of the website, not just the feeder side. One of the biggest things we’ve focused on is building detailed care and resource pages to help both new and experienced keepers succeed with their animals.

Tonight we just finished our brand new Praying Mantis Care Guide, covering:
• Feeding
• Humidity
• Ventilation
• Mismolts
• Species-specific care
• Orchid mantis care
• Giant Asian mantids
• Ghost mantids
• Dead leaf mantids
• Twig mantids

We’ve also recently added:

Still a LOT more work to do, but we’re finally starting to see everything come together and we appreciate everybody supporting the growth of the site so far.
