👑 Stepping Into Her Next Chapter…

Before Crown & Tress became what it is today, there was Lady Autumn. 🤎

She is part of the foundation of our program the sweet companion who taught us so much, became an exceptional mother, and helped shape the way we raise and love our Royal Companions today.

And now, our girl is approaching a very special chapter.

Lady Autumn and Sir Snickers are preparing for what we expect to be Autumn’s final litter before she officially retires from our breeding program. 🍂👑

There is something beautifully bittersweet about this season.

We’re excited about the little lives she may bring into the world one final time, but we’re equally excited for what waits for Autumn afterward: retirement and the joy of simply being someone’s beloved girl full-time. 💗

Her guardian mom has loved and cared for her throughout this journey, and soon she gets to have Autumn all to herself.

Autumn may be stepping away from motherhood…

but she’ll never step out of the Crown & Tress story.

Queens don’t disappear. They leave legacies. 👑

👑 A Royal Pairing And a Very Special Final Chapter 👑

We’re excited to introduce our upcoming parents-to-be:

🤎 Sir Snickers & Lady Autumn 🤎

If all goes as planned, we’ll be welcoming a beautiful litter of purebred, AKC-registered Shih Tzu this weekend. 🐾👑

But this litter carries a little extra meaning for our family.

💝 This will be Lady Autumn’s final litter before she officially retires.

Autumn is where so much of the Crown & Tress story began. She has been a foundation of our breeding program, but even more importantly, she has been the kind of Shih Tzu that reminds us why we fell in love with this breed in the first place.

She is sweet, affectionate, gentle, and an exceptional mother. Through every litter, Autumn has taught us something about raising puppies, about motherhood, about responsible breeding, and about the incredible companionship these little dogs bring into our lives.

And when her final puppies have been raised and her role as Mama comes to an end, something beautiful is waiting for her. 🏡💕

Her Guardian Home mom will finally get to have Autumn full-time, where she can enjoy her well-earned retirement simply being what she has always been at heart:

a deeply loved companion. 👑

So this upcoming litter feels a little bittersweet.

We’re excited to meet the Royal Companions Sir Snickers and Lady Autumn may bring into the world, while also celebrating the beautiful legacy Autumn has helped create at Crown & Tress.

A Royal Send-Off Princess Ocean

We’re a few weeks late sharing this special moment, but Princess Ocean’s Royal Send-Off absolutely deserves a place on our page. 💙💛

We packed up the family and hit the road from Ohio to Flint, Michigan, where we had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful breeder behind and placing Princess Ocean into her hands. 🐾

This was a special one for Crown & Tress.

Princess Ocean isn’t beginning her next chapter simply as a beloved companion she was selected by an exceptional professional breeder to become part of their program in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula.

As breeders, there’s something incredibly meaningful about another breeder seeing something special in a puppy you’ve poured so much love, care, planning, and purpose into raising. We’re grateful for the trust placed in Crown & Tress and excited to see what the future holds for our girl. 👑

And considering how far north her new kingdom is…
