Look at this adorable family of fluff! 🥰
Lil' Mama made some pretty cute kittens who are now available for adoption. (Lil' Mama still needs to get spayed and can then get adopted but you can meet her in adoption now.) They were all in foster so their profiles can be found in the link below. No need to send in an application ahead of time, just come on in.

UPDATE: Kitchi is now adopted!

Northwoods currently has 2 "tripod" animals available for adoption! Both Kitchi (4 months old) and Dewey (6 years old) came to us from Friends of Minneapolis Animal Care & Control in need of amputations due to badly broken legs. They were each in a foster home while recovering so we know a lot about their personalities and you can read about them by following the links below.
Before anyone suggests it, they can't go home together. Dewey considers it his mission to drive out any cat that dare comes near him so he can't go to a home with cats or other small animals. He does great with other dogs though.

Our supporters are awesome! 💖
Lucy, (who is the daughter of one of our wonderful volunteers)
decided to make items for the cats at the shelter for her 7th birthday party! They made blankets, adoption bags with food and toys inside, toys and a scratching house. She hopes the cats will all enjoy their new things!
Thank you so much Lucy and mom for passing down the love of animals!

Last day of our adoption special - all cats/kittens (5 months and older) are $100 off their adoption fee! So far 5 have gone to their new homes so we're hoping to see more today. (Nub is at Chuck & Don's in Forest Lake - don't know why someone hasn't scooped that great girl up already!?)
If they are listed in foster, the special will still apply as long as you put in your application to meet them by the end of today. For more info on all: www.northwoodshs.org/adoptable-cats/

Northwoods is having an adoption special starting today (10/16) and going thru Sunday (10/18).
All cats/kittens (5 months and older) are $100 off their adoption fee! We have a lot of very nice cats who tend to get overlooked while all the kittens around them get adopted so we want to help them find their new homes. Come on in and meet your new family member! If they are listed in foster, just follow the link to apply online to meet them. For more info on all: www.northwoodshs.org/adoptable-cats/
