⚠️ Attention Horsemen Traveling From or Through Texas or New Mexico ⚠️

Due to ongoing New World Screwworm (NWS) detections and changing state animal health requirements, all horses entering Oklahoma from or through Texas or New Mexico must have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) stating the horse did not originate from an infested zone.

This remains a fluid situation, and requirements may change with little notice. Before transporting horses across state lines, please verify the current entry requirements for every state you will be traveling to, from, or through.

For the latest Oklahoma requirements, contact the Oklahoma State Veterinarian's Office at 405-522-6141 or visit the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture website.

Please travel prepared and allow extra time to obtain any required inspections, permits, or documentation.
