There is something powerful about a great horse.

The strength is obvious. The athleticism is undeniable. But what truly makes them remarkable is their willingness to be guided.

A horse could use its power for its own purposes, yet the best ones choose partnership. They listen. They trust. They respond.

As horsemen and horsewomen, we can learn from that example. God doesn't ask us to be weak. He asks us to surrender our strength to His purpose.

"Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit," says the Lord Almighty.

There comes a moment when you're running down the fence and it's time to commit. The cow may not do exactly what you expect. The footing may not be perfect. The outcome isn't guaranteed. But hesitation rarely wins.

Trust your preparation. Trust your horse. Trust the hours you've invested when nobody was watching. And above all, trust the God who brought you to this moment.

Faith isn't standing at the end of the arena waiting for certainty. Faith is putting your hand down, riding forward, and believing God will help you handle whatever direction the cow turns.
