DID YOU KNOW….
Groomers don’t have to be licensed/registered/certified to be groomers in the state of Texas? You could open up your own grooming salon tomorrow and start taking clients. I am proud to say I am a certified groomer and certified through different associations and schools in many other things including behavior and skin care and my next accomplishment I am working on is becoming a Nationally Certified Master Groomer through the National Dog Association of America and the AKC specializing in breed standard grooms. You take multiple written and hands on practicals to prove you know breed standard and I have one more practical test to complete. I am using this beautiful boy Harrison for my test in September. I thought you guys would enjoy seeing his progress so far. He is so handsome and I’m loving this process so much! I will update more as we get closer to the test 🙌🏻
