We're collecting essential items to help our furry friends
🐶 Pet food
🐱 Toys
🦴 Treats
🛏️ Blankets & bedding
🦮 Leashes & collars
🐾 Other pet care necessities

Every donation helps provide comfort, care, and support for pets waiting for their forever homes.

Donations can be dropped off all month long at Genesis Chevrolet, located at 21800 Gratiot Avenue in Eastpointe.

🛠️ VOLUNTEER GROUPS NEEDED 🛠️

Each year for a week in June, we temporarily shut down the shelter for a much-needed deep clean, repairs, painting, and general indoor & outdoor projects that help keep our animals safe, healthy, and comfortable.

In past years, we’ve been incredibly lucky to have a couple volunteer groups from local businesses, clubs, and organizations step up to help tackle some of these big projects for a day during our shutdown.

Unfortunately, this year we do not currently have any groups signed up, and we could really use the extra hands.

If your business, group or organization, would be interested in volunteering during our 2026 Shelter Shutdown June 19th-28th, please send us a message for details!

Many hands make light work, and every bit of help makes a huge difference for the animals in our care. ❤️🐶🐱

It’s time to clean out those garages, basements, and spare rooms and turn your unwanted items into lifesaving funds for the dogs and cats of Haven of Love Dog Rescue! 🐾🐱🐶

We are now accepting donations for our 3rd Annual Rummage Sale Fundraiser and we would LOVE your help filling those trailers!

🗓 Drop-Off Times:
▪ Tuesdays 4pm–8pm
▪ Saturdays 11am–3pm

Right now, we’re also dangerously low on Blankets and wet food, and our dogs would love some extra treats and bones too!

These supplies help keep hundreds of rescue dogs comfortable, enriched, and well-fed while they wait for their forever homes. Blankets and towels do not need to be new—we happily accept gently used donations in good condition. (Please no sheets, pillows, or items with large rips or holes.)
