Clover 🥰

Clover is absolutely the best.
The daughter of Hamburger and Rough-house Ruby. And just like her mama, tries to stand down any Tortoise she happens to come near.
She’s a little baddie 💪🏻
She is absolutely not afraid of anything, or shy in the least. She is the best and we fell in love the second she came. She was found a couple years after her parents were adopted.

New arrival 🚨

This little one came just 7 weeks old, was taken out of a horrible situation by a caring individual who knew this baby needed a chance and so much better.
The little tort already has the biggest sense of adventure and not afraid of anything. Baby is a Sulcata tortoise and these tortoises get BIG, and just like any other Tortoise also a long lifespan.

This little one will be looking for their forever home that will provide all he needs at any size. Tortoises are smart, have amazing memories and can be very determined! They love their families and are wonderful.

Beautiful enclosures make me so happy 🥲
Animal husbandry is so important, especially when it comes to exotics. It’s the cornerstone of their health, preventing the vast majority of illnesses, behavioral problems, overall comfortability and premature deaths in captivity.
When people adopt, I don’t want to set you up or the animal for failure. And most of my animals come from such horrible beginnings where they were completely let down with their previous families. We work together in making sure and providing the best for their new exotic family member.

I’m just so wholeheartedly happy with how much these families commit and they always leave me beyond words with how much they put in their enclosures.. as they should. These animals always deserve that💕

And the kids I tell you, THE KIDS… I don’t even know where to start.. I have had more children that even through the years while still staying in touch with their families are just so amazing with their animals and so dedicated and educated, it’s really impressive and so wonderful.
Some adults really need to take note on their Animal Care😅

This dragon is SO funny. He is so active and the biggest personality. We recently found out that he doesn’t like hats, and he’ll definitely try to fight you if you come with one on around him. 😆

This is Shelladonna. And before we get to her, I just need to throw out there because it never fails anytime I post a water turtle that someone is going to ask me to take theirs.
No just please no.

Now back to this girl, who was found in the middle of the desert by Edison workers. SO far from water. She was so dry, dull looking and a sassy little thing. Which the sassyness is probably what kept her alive, she is one tough gal.

Even though her water is a wonderful 75-80 year round she will still sunbathe on her rock with one foot stretched in the front and one foot stretched in the back through any ANY type of weather. And she’s fine 😅 she has access to all but she truly does what she wants.

Even getting videos of her are not easy. Her just letting me touch her for the moment and letting me get as close as I do sometimes is wonderful. She takes more meals from my hand and forceps, and even is starting to approach me when it’s food time. I’m going to say it, she really came out of her shell🥲

Red ears are so beautiful, I have such a soft spot for turtles. They’re smart with vivid personalities and quirks and can really brighten up a space. I love them so much, and I hope Shelladonna finds that space to open up for her that will just love her like I do.

My little Peanut went home 🥹

His new mom loves him so much and is so SO great. He literally lucked out with this whole family. It was such a perfect fit.

I just wanted to say, I am often hearing and seeing so many people usually adults that fail their reptiles. I really gotta give it to all these young ones and their families that have adopted with me over the years. The dedication, responsibility, and these immaculate enclosures that they create for these animals is just all so wonderful.

This family took on one of my special guys. A pound puppy that I really hoped would find the best family.
And he sure did 🥹

The parents came and met the animals, then Avocado stole their hearts. Making sure he has the best equipment, proper enclosure and knowledge for Avocado to come home and thrive and be so happy.
Once things got closer, we were invited to their son’s birthday party, where we got to surprise him with Avocado.

Peanut is SO precious.
He is such a little guy for his age, due to lack of feedings and poor husbandry. And he definitely has silly things about him, little quirky things that definitely make him unique. I like to call him my little banana slug 💛
