We would like to remind everyone that with the frigid temperatures and impending snowstorm, it is essential to exercise caution when taking pets outside. To minimize exposure, keep walks brief and consider utilizing protective gear such as sweaters, jackets, and booties, particularly for pets with shorter coats. Upon entering your home, ensure to wipe your pet's paws to prevent irritation from road salt. If you plan to let your dogs play outside, please be mindful of the temperature and monitor their comfort level to prevent them from getting too cold. For those with breeds adapted to cold climates, we advise continued vigilance when they are outdoors and suggest having treats on hand to encourage them to return indoors 🙃.

Pavo, a long-standing and cherished presence at our clinic, passed away today at the age of 24 due to a medical condition. As a unique and endearing clinic cat, he will be deeply missed by our staff. We kindly request that you keep everyone in your thoughts over the coming days as we mourn the loss of a beloved companion. Thank you.
