My neighbors, my friends Latif Yeniceri , and Maysa Gharib and Maysa's son made it out safely from a house fire last night in Yellow Dog, but sadly, they lost everything. One cat, Shady, is safe, but we are still praying Zelda made it out. They also took in a feral colony of cats for a friend. I know money is tight for everyone, but can you afford $5? Perhaps a Red Pepper Pizzeria , Walmart or Tractor Supply gift card? They have cats, goats, sheep, chickens and ducks to feed. I want to do a gofundme, but fear someone will copy and scam them out of immediate help that they need. They do not have insurance.

Those were the days when all us Yellow Dog kids dressed up and went door to door for candy. The adults tried to guess who was under the mask before they handed out the candy. Did they not realize how sweaty and hot we were not to mention that we could hardly breathe! 🤣

Who wants to go to Cooper's field and steal some corn to throw at houses? Bring a bar of soap to soap the windows 😮

Oh what fun!
