The hardest part of owning a pet is making the heartbreaking decision to end their suffering!

Tigger one of our shop cats crossed the rainbow bridge this evening. He had major issues with his bladder and we had to make that decision.

Rest well Tigger! We will never forget you and we will always love you!

Give a senior pet a chance!

Everyone at the shelter kept pointing us toward the puppies.

We kept going back to kennel 14.

He was eight years old, grey around the eyes, and the quietest dog in the building.

He looked at us like he had given up expecting anything.

We took him home on a Tuesday.

He slept through the whole first night like he had finally exhaled.

He only had two years left. They were the best two years of his life. And theirs. 🐾🩶

ATTENTION PET OWNERS (02-24-2026): Rabies vaccine made by Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health is being recalled.

⚠️The recalled lot is IMRAB 3TF; serial 18665; expiration date March 12, 2027.⚠️

Vials in that shipment may have contained sterile water instead of rabies vaccine. Pet owners with questions about the recall should contact their veterinarians.

Owners of pets that received a rabies vaccination after September 29, 2025 should review their rabies vaccine certificates and contact their veterinarian if this product was administered.

Re-vaccination is required for pets that received the affected product. Veterinarians who received the affected vaccine shipment have been notified by the vaccine manufacturer and have been instructed to contact the owners of pets that received this product.

Pennsylvania law requires that dogs and cats are vaccinated against rabies within 4 weeks after the date the dog or cat attains 12 weeks of age and maintain a current rabies immunity as prescribed by rabies vaccine manufacturers.

Please note: The health department is simply passing along this information to the public, the recall was initiated by the manufacturer and under the input of the USDA.

Help!!!!

I’m in need of someone to hang two 6’ cabinets in my salon ASAP! Are being hung on concrete block walls and they are HEAVY, so must have concrete nailer! Can’t afford a lot, but willing to trade for grooming services!

Over much deliberation we have decided that, due to excessive no shows/cancelations, we will be implementing a fee for those that no show or do not give a 24 hour notice!

We understand that life happens, but when you don’t show for your appointment, that time slot cannot be filled and we LOSE MONEY!

Please be considerate and call or text with cancellations or changes!

We are sorry it has come to this, but this is our business…our livelihood!
