Sugar Run Equine Offering chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, dentistry, equine and small animal in-home euthanasia Sugar Run Equine was founded by Dr. Amanda Pope in 2021.

Dr. Pope grew up in Wooster, Ohio, where she developed her love of horses after getting her first Morgan mare, Sugar Run Polly Prim, as a Christmas present. She graduated from The Ohio State University Veterinary School, where she received the Excellence in Equine Medicine Award, in 2012. After that she completed a two year internship at New England Equine Practice in upstate New York. She then worked as an associate veterinarian at Millbrook Equine for almost 7 years before deciding to move back home to Wooster. Dr. Pope developed a love of equine chiropractic and acupuncture and is excited to offer those services for your equine athlete in Ohio. Equine dentistry and certain equine medicine consultations are also available upon request.

We are adding to our team again! This time we are looking for experienced horse people that are at least 18 years old 🐴 Weekday and weekend shifts available

Work includes all the regular barn chores to keep our horses happy: Turning horses out, picking stalls, cleaning water buckets, sweeping, feeding morning and/or evening shifts.

Anyone around Wooster looking for a horse job?!

We are looking to hire 1-2 people who enjoy being outside & working with horses.

Duties include,but are not limited to- feeding,turnout, stalls and the general barn cleaning. Part-time position. Hours are flexible depending on scheduling.

Some horse handling experience would be great.
