From upside down bulldog naps after outside playtime to all 4 dogs suddenly lining up on the porch stairs watching my every move 😂❤️

These pups definitely keep me entertained. Nothing better than seeing dogs happy, comfortable, playful, and relaxed during visits 🐾

• If your dogs are outside, shovel snow away from fences—heavy snow can make it easier for them to jump.
• Use a long, long leash in the backyard if it’s safe.
• Check your yard for falling tree branches and weak fences before letting pets out.

❄️Winter Fence Safety for Dogs ❄️

High mounds of snow can turn a fenced yard into an escape risk. Snow drifts often act like ramps, allowing dogs to climb or jump right over fences. A 6-foot fence can quickly become a 3-foot fence with enough snow! Check out these tips!

*Create a “Moat”

Shovel a gap between the fence and snowbanks to eliminate the ramp effect.



*Supervise Outdoor Time

Even fenced yards aren’t foolproof. Always keep an eye on your dog when they’re outside.

*Check Gates & Latches

Snow and ice can freeze gates and prevent them from latching securely.



*Electronic Fence Effectiveness

Deep snow can interfere with underground fence signals. Increase signal strength and check for breaks regularly.



If your dog does escape, check with neighbors immediately — dogs often jump into nearby yards, and get disoriented in storms easily.

Stay safe and keep those pups secure!

⚠️ It is advisable to inspect the fenced yard prior to allowing your dog to exit, given the forecasted wind speeds of 50 to 60 miles per hour tonight until Thursday at 9 a.m. If I were in your position, I would opt to walk your dog on a leash for its outdoor relief.⚠️
