🌞💵 Did you use your Virginia SUN Bucks this summer? This special program, offered through the Virginia Department of Social Services, assists eligible families in paying for fresh veggies, fruit, dairy, and meat during the summer months, when kids are out of school. However, funds are good for 122 days after they're issued, and the deadline to apply for this program runs until August 31!

🚨 USDA is making $7.5 million in grant funding available to support cold chain equipment investments that help food assistance entities temporarily store, effectively package, and distribute fresh, frozen, and minimally processed foods.

Eligible non-profit organizations may apply for the Cold Chain Grants for Emergency Food Assistance Program through https://grants.gov by 11:59 PM ET on Oct. 1, 2026.
