Do you know someone, who knows someone, who might know someone? Please share! Purr Joy needs a facility sooner than later!

🚨 WE’RE LOOKING FOR A SPACE! 🐾🏠

Does anyone know of, own or have access to 1,000–2,000 sq. ft. of temperature-controlled space that could potentially be donated or leased to PurrJoy Cat & Kitten Rescue (we can’t afford a lot)?

We are looking for a space where we can create a small adoption + intake facility to help us better serve the cats and kittens in our care. 💕🐱

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so a donated space or in-kind contribution may be tax-deductible! This could be an incredible opportunity for a local business, property owner, or community member to make a HUGE impact without having to make a traditional cash donation.

We’re imagining a clean, temperature-controlled space where we can:
🐾 Welcome cats and kittens coming into rescue
🐾 Provide a safe place for them to decompress and receive care
🐾 Hold adoption events and meet-and-greets
🐾 Give potential adopters a place to meet their future family member
🐾 Help us continue saving lives as our rescue continues to grow

We are completely outgrowing our current setup, and having a dedicated space would be a game changer for PurrJoy and the cats depending on us. ❤️

If you know of an empty commercial space, office, storefront, warehouse, church space, or other property that might work, PLEASE reach out to us or tag someone who may be able to help!

Even if you’re not sure it would work, send it our way! We would love to take a look.

Yesterday wasn’t a typical day for me, but it was a busy one! It included a last minute visit to my grand pups and grand kitty. So many cuties, so little time!

PLEASE, please keep your babies cool.

The Texas Heat is back, and our fur babies feel it even more! Remember, a dog's body temperature runs higher than ours, so if we are hot, they're hotter. Check the pavement with your hand-if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for their paw pads. Always provide plenty of fresh water, never leave pets in the car alone, and limit walks and playtime during peak heat hours.

If you suspect signs of heat stroke consult a vet immediately!!
