I like how they look in pics but they FEEL amazing. Fur and all. Shot is hands-down my favorite jr right now.

3 littermates out of Black River FM3- broken tort X ARS ASA3- tort

These guys are really starting to come into themselves. All have much better type than mom and it feels like they will have more correct fur than dad. Really pleased with this cross.

Their dad is a false dwarf, so im hoping to replace him eventually with a son that ahd his type but better fur and correct size. While I said I was going to not do broken torts that broken tort buck is a step in the right direction.

I've been thinking about my champagne mini rex program lately and I feel like I need another breeder in with me.

I'm almost positive it is possible as I have rex furred mids that are showing the same as normal furred mids so my assumption is rex fur champagne with be the same as normal furred champagne.

I have copies of my first and second generation in the nest box that I can share with people if anyone wants to jump onboard!

I cant get this off the ground by myself and I think it might be a good time to get some help!

Just weaned babies out of Black River R4N- tort X ARS ACST- black

I dont know where these guys of such short bodies but im loving it. That little tort doe is so short, deep, and wide.

The black doe is killer as well.

I love this litter. I'll probabaly have their tort sister available eventually. I repeated this cross and mom is due any day now!

I had a good day the show in Austin, MN.

Show 1 highlights:
BOSG with RoyalRealm Turn the Music Up- black otter sr buck (which makes him GC eledgible)!
2nd place of 9 otter sr buck with RoyalRealm Cobalt- blue otter (full older sibling to Turn the Music Up)

Show 2 highlights:

3rd of 9 otter sr buck with RoyalRealm Turn the Music Up

It is exciting to see Cobalt get to shine!

I havent been active on this page at all in the past year, so here's a rabbitry update!

I decided to do a refocus. I'm going to be breeding for blue, castor, otter, and solid tort. I'm going to be doing brokens of those varieties (except for tort).

I will be keeping some blacks for my champagne program and if they carry blue or tort to help improve those varieties.

I am still working on my champagne mini rex project and currently have generation 2 growing out. I do have a couple rex fur mid's that are looking promising.

I've got some nice babies in the nest box and am excited to finally be able to be showing again.

Had a good weekend at the Jefferson show!

My little star this weekend was RoyalRealm Turn the Music Up- black otter jr buck.

He took 1st of 5 in show 2 on Saturday, BOG in the first speciality and BOS in the second speciality.

Last year at this show his Dad placed very similar to him. Unfortunately, his dad passed away unexpectedly early this year and I'm glad this little guy is here to full his shoes.

I also had good placings in the black sr and jr doe classes and the otter sr buck and sr doe classes.

Congrats to all the other winners. It was great to be able to see everyone.
