🐾 Fear-Free Tip: Pre-Visit Anxiety Medication

Does your pet get extremely nervous before a trip to the veterinarian?

For some dogs and cats, pre-visit anti-anxiety medication can help take the edge off and make the experience much less stressful. ❤️

These medications are given before the appointment and are designed to help reduce fear and anxiety—not simply make your pet sleepy.

Medication isn't needed for every pet, but for those with significant veterinary anxiety, it can be an important part of a Fear-Free approach.

If your pet shakes, hides, pants, growls, or becomes extremely stressed before or during veterinary visits, talk with our veterinary team before your next appointment. We can help determine what approach may be best for your pet. 🐶🐱
