🎄 Cindy Is Hoping for a Forever Home This Holiday Season 🎄

Cindy is an 8-year-old spayed female who is looking for a quiet, loving home to call her own. She was relinquished to our clinic due to litter box issues related to arthritis and constipation—both of which are now being successfully managed. Since her pain has been controlled, she has had no further litter box problems.

She’s also on a weight-loss journey (and absolutely crushing it!), which has helped improve her mobility and comfort even more. Cindy is declawed, which contributed to her arthritis, but she’s feeling much better with proper care and support.

While Cindy can be a bit of a grumpy old lady at first, she truly enjoys cuddling and has a sweet, spunky personality that shines once she feels safe. She would do best as an only cat in a home without small children, where she can enjoy a calm environment and plenty of affection.

If you—or someone you know—might be interested in meeting this special girl, please reach out. Cindy would love nothing more than to spend the holidays (and beyond) in a forever home. 💕

📣 Important Update: New Georgia Law Affecting Veterinary Care (SB-105)
📅 Effective July 1, 2025

Hey Community Cat Clinic family! 🐾

We want to keep you in the loop about a new Georgia law, Senate Bill 105 (SB-105), that brings some big updates to how veterinary care is provided across the state—including right here at our clinic.

What is SB-105?
This law modernizes Georgia’s veterinary regulations by:
✅ Expanding telemedicine and mobile clinic guidelines
✅ Updating how veterinary-client-patient relationships (VCPR) are established
✅ Clarifying supervision rules for vet techs and staff
✅ Strengthening recordkeeping and consent policies
✅ Giving more oversight authority to the Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine

What does this mean for you and your pets?
We’re adjusting our protocols to stay fully compliant—while still giving you the same compassionate, high-quality care you know and love. 💙
You may notice:
🔹 Extra steps to confirm medical history or consent
🔹 New telemedicine options (or changes to how it's used)
🔹 Updated prescription protocols

We’re here for you through this transition! If you have any questions, just give us a call or stop by—we're happy to help. Below are some links to additional information on these laws.

If passed, this bill keeps teleservices in the hands of licensed veterinarians and veterinary technicians in Georgia and includes a path for helping animal owners in areas that lack veterinarians.

Thank you Dr. Monroe for being such an amazing part of our team! You’ve touched so many of our lives in different ways. In ways that we will all cherish and never forget. Between helping our clients and their kitties, our community cats to our team, you have truly left a mark and something for us to continue to work hard for. 😻
Now it’s your turn to go have an adventure and explore the world and touch many, many more lives. We love you and will miss you so much here at CCC! Safe travels💜💜💜

Dear Friends of CCC,

I wanted to personally share some news with you—after a lot of thought (and quite a bit of daydreaming), I’ve decided to take some time away from the clinic to travel and explore the world a bit. It’s a big change, but one I’m really excited for.
Saying goodbye is definitely bittersweet. Many of you have been with me for years and it’s been such a privilege to care for your cats and be a part of their lives (and yours!). I’ve truly cherished the relationships we’ve built and the trust you’ve placed in me.
As I step away, I’m leaving you in the incredibly capable hands of Dr. McDonald, who will be stepping into the role of Chief of Staff. She’s not only an excellent veterinarian, but also a kind and compassionate person who shares a deep love for cats and a commitment to their care. I know you and your kitty family members will be in wonderful hands with her.
I've also had the joy of working with one of the most dedicated and talented teams in the industry. This clinic will continue to do amazing things for cats in our community, and I’m excited to see what’s ahead for them—even from afar.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all the support, kindness, and connection over the years.

With warmth and gratitude,
Jennifer Monroe, DVM
