This little girl weighs only 12.3 lbs. She start nursing 6 hours in, urinated and lost her plug so we feel better now. Her color is medium brown with a whole bunch of curls so can’t wait to see her fleece as it grows out!!

Today is the day!!!Congratulations to Mia and her brand new baby girl!! She was bred to Red Granite’s Pascal and she is absolutely beautiful!! She is healthy and strong…mama is kicking her off from nursing but we will give her some time to adjust from being a new mom and adjusting after giving birth.. she absolutely is a great mama and is so attentive so there is no doubt she will be a rock star mama!! A job well done for Valentino! Maybe 2 buns in the oven for this guy…we mean the alpaca. Mercer is spitting off and Trinity is running around in circles, just like her mama did. If he managed to pull it off, this will be his first crias for next year. He will be open for breedings!!

Dannie is due to have her cria in 2-4 weeks. We have a llama cria before the next alpaca crias decide to enter this world.

It was a lazy day for everyone today and still no crias yet…I think we have some very stubborn crias this year. We see lots of movement so we are pretty sure they are pregnant
