Reyerwalk Ranch ReyerWalk Ranch is a friendly family barn in Woodside, CA. Doing business since 1991. Happy trails!

We bought this little ranch in 1991 and have been enjoying the horsey life ever since. We are a family friendly barn at the edge of the “Golden Mile” in Woodside, where beautiful horse trails can take a rider from here to the Horse Park, Little House, or Skyline without a hitch. Beautiful new equestrian arena, bedded stalls, and large turnouts will spoil your mount.

Even cartoon villains would understand that sending wild horses to meat factories will turn people against you.

Here’s hoping that this sort of buffoonish incompetence and cruelty will move the needle against the administration, even when barbaric prison camps and sending people to Eswatini doesn’t.
Thank you, Meagan McGovern.

A pest control company charges at minimum $40-80 per month for rodent management. The bait they set is brodifacoum — a second-generation anticoagulant that kills the mouse over three to five days. During those days, the dying mouse becomes easy prey for the owl, the hawk, the fox, and your neighbor's cat. The poison moves up. The company comes back monthly.

Four animals were running rodent control on your property before the bait station arrived. The poison you hired killed them too.

The barn owl hunts by sound alone — her asymmetric ears triangulate a mouse under grass in total darkness. A single family removes over 3,000 rodents per year. Cost per rodent: functionally zero. The bait station costs $8.11 per rodent.

The red-tailed hawk works the day shift from your fence post. Her diet is 85 percent small mammals. She produces zero secondary poisoning.

The rat snake works the interior — your barn, your walls, your crawl space. She goes where bait stations can't.

The red fox pounces through grass at dawn, aligning her strikes with Earth's magnetic field. She removes 3,000 to 4,000 rodents per year.

The pest company replaced a team of four. The replacement killed the original staff. The mice came back. The invoicing will never stop.

Two fine barn denizens, owned and loved by Ashley Chandran of Chandran Gallery. Halo is a gorgeous Frisian and Bud is a Clydesdale. Bud is about 1,500 pounds as opposed to the 2k # Budweiser show Clydesdales, so we call him Bud Light.

A warm welcome from Reyerwalk Ranch to this very fancy pony, Benno’s Watermark (« Bing »). He is a lovely little gentleman, very friendly, has competed up to PSG dressage and done some eventing, but these days is enjoying just hanging out and trail riding. Miss Rosie has already claimed him as her special beau. Chantal Ferrini 🥰 Nancy Reyering
