Our gorgeous and big boy Grimm has wowed us again!!! Super proud of him and his guardian home Lelah and Brent Bethel for all their hard work this year and earning more titles with this awesome boy! Sharing their post here :
Well, that a wrap on Grimm’s first dock diving season! 28 qualifying jumps and three dock titles: Dock Novice, Dock Junior, and Dock Senior. Not a bad start for Team Grimm. We can’t wait to see what next season holds for Grimm! 🦈🐾🤩🥰

SOME DOGS ARE SIMPLY BORN WITH A GIFT . ❤️🐾

This photo of Nahla and me was taken years ago during one of our visits to a nursing home, and it still holds such a special place in my heart. Therapy work taught me that it takes a truly special dog to walk into a room and somehow know exactly what is needed—a gentle nudge, a quiet presence, a paw nearby, or simply someone soft to hold onto for a little while.

Therapy dogs and their handlers bring something that’s difficult to put into words. They bring comfort, connection, smiles, memories, and moments of pure joy to people who may need them most. Sometimes a visit from a dog can reach a person in a way that people simply cannot.

Not every dog is suited for this work. It takes a steady temperament, patience, confidence, gentleness, and an incredible amount of trust between dog and handler. That is one of the reasons I’m so proud that we have been fortunate to have multiple certified therapy dogs within our program.

I have a deep love for all of my dogs, but there will always be something especially beautiful about watching one of them use everything they are—their loyalty, intuition, tenderness, and love—to brighten someone else’s day.

Nahla gave a lot of people smiles during those visits…but I think she gave just as much to me. ❤️

Some German Shepherds protect. Some serve. Some comfort. And the truly special ones seem to know exactly when someone needs a little bit of all three. 🐾❤️

If you were at the Barnesville pumpkin festival parade today you would have seen us walking in support of our training group Canine Frenzy Versatility 🥰 Von Shap had an excellent representation and all the dogs were so well behaved . The Von Shap dogs Walking in the group today were Lobo, Lilly, Novah (with her group Gold Ribbon Veterinary). And with us also apparently we had a few wolves : Grimm and Thor 😆.. super proud of them all to handle the noise, chaos, hundreds and hundreds of people and stress like champions ❤️❤️❤️
