I know I'll never get used to saying goodbye. I'm so grateful that God has given me the opportunity to be a small part of these fur babies lives. I have been richly blessed by the love that I get to exchange with them.

Sweet Lily, I can't believe it's only been a week since your mama had me come over to say my farewell. One of the things that gives me comfort, is knowing that in God's loving kindness, I will see you and all the fur babies that I've got to love, once again.

I love exploring all the flowers and grasses that are blooming now that it is Springtime. When I was on my walk with Auntie Lori today, I had a little sneeze and she asked me if I was okay. Then I thought of something that I wanted to tell all of you.

Dogs can struggle with spring allergies just like we do. If you notice itching, licking, or watery eyes, pollen may be the culprit. Wiping paws and fur after walks can bring relief.

I've seen a lot of posts lastely about lost fur babies. So I told my Auntie Lori, who walks me, that Spring is the perfect time to double check your dog’s collar and ID tags. In my years of walking dogs, I've got to see many of them react to various things while out on our walks. Things like massive yard decorations during the holidays or perhaps a concrete animal placed strategically in the yard. This is the first time I've had one of my dogs react to appliances sitting at the side of the road. I didn't catch his initial reaction which was quite hilarious.

One of my great joys is being able to celebrate the sweet fur babies birthdays. What a privilege God has given me to have such joy brought into my life. Happy 11th birthday sweet Bailey! 💕🎈🎉

A piece of my heart is once again gone. Yesterday, my little buddy Oliver, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. His mama called me and I knew before I picked up the phone, that it was his time and the tears started to fall.

He fought through so much, especially the past several months. As a fur baby parent, no more could have possibly been done than what Oliver's mama did for him.

That decision to help them cross is never easy, but I do feel that it is a privilege that we receive because of the love that is exchanged between them and us.

For myself, the past 3 months have been particularly difficult since three pups and one kitty have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I'm so grateful for their parents allowing me to be a part of their lives and letting me love them just a little bit while they're here.
