Hi everyone!👋
I hope everyone is doing well

I wanted to give a quick update and thank you all for your patience during what has been an unexpected and challenging transition.

As many of you know, we experienced a sudden staffing change in May that required us to pause new appointments, reschedule some existing appointments, and create a waitlist while we worked through our schedule.
Shortly after hiring an amazing new groomer, she unfortunately fractured her elbow in an accident. While the timing wasn’t ideal, we’re happy to share that her orthopedic doctor has cleared her to return to work with modifications, and she will be back starting Tuesday!

Because we wanted to make sure we had a clear plan before overcommitting, we temporarily paused booking additional appointments while we gathered more information. We are now working through our waitlist and getting everyone rescheduled as quickly as possible.

We expect things to be running much more smoothly over the next couple of weeks and look forward to getting back to serving all of our wonderful clients and their pets.

Good Morning everyone 👋

I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to reach out and let everyone know that we will be closed this weekend on:

• Friday 5/22
• Saturday 5/23
• Sunday (regularly closed)
• Monday 5/25

With everything that has been transpiring, I’ve decided to take this time away from the shop to spend time with my son and allow both myself and my staff the opportunity to reset and recharge.

It’s been a bit overwhelming lately, and I’ve been doing my best to keep everything together. I truly love what I do, and I love and appreciate all of my clients so much. But sometimes life reminds us that we need to slow down and spend time with the people we love most. Their presence is what matters most, because none of us truly knows what the future holds. Hold your loved ones close ❤️

We will return to the shop on Tuesday, May 26th. During this time, our phones will be turned off while we take a much-needed break and regroup.

Thank you all for your kindness, support, patience, and understanding through all of this. I wish you all a very happy Memorial Day weekend and a wonderful start to your summer 😎☀️

Good morning everyone 👋 I hope everyone is doing well🤍

I wanted to give an update regarding scheduling and recent appointment cancellations.

Unfortunately, our groomer Angel had to leave unexpectedly on Thursday, May 14th, after her mother was admitted back into the hospital.
Because of this sudden family emergency, we had to cancel the remainder of her appointments that afternoon beginning at 2:30 PM, as well as the dogs that had been scheduled through what was originally planned to be her final day with us.

First and foremost, our hearts are with Angel and her family during this difficult time❤️‍🩹

I also want to sincerely apologize to the clients and pets affected by these sudden changes. I know grooming appointments are important, and I completely understand the inconvenience and frustration rescheduling may cause. Please know that no cancellation fees have been applied to any affected appointments.

I am actively working behind the scenes to figure out the best possible way to get everyone back onto the schedule as quickly as I can while still maintaining the level of care and attention your pets deserve. I ask for a little patience and grace as I navigate these unexpected staffing challenges.

To those waiting to be rescheduled — you have not been forgotten. I will be reaching out as soon as I am able. However, I also want to be honest and transparent that some clients may not be able to get back onto the schedule in a timely manner as they are used to, due to our current staffing limitations.

I also completely understand if some clients are unable to wait and need to make other arrangements in the meantime. There are absolutely no hard feelings. I truly appreciate every single person who has supported our small business through this difficult transition.

Hello Everyone 👋 I hope everyone is doing well🤍

I want to take a moment to be transparent and honest with you all during a very difficult season for our salon.

Angel will be leaving us on Thursday, May 21st, to be with her mom and family.
This will be her last day at our facility.
While we fully support her decision and wish her nothing but love during this time, her departure has created a major transition for our team and business.

Because of this, we have temporarily paused accepting new clients and online booking. This was not a decision made lightly. The care, safety, and quality we provide to every pet has always been — and always will be — our top priority. I refuse to overbook, rush services, or compromise the level of care your pets deserve.

Please know that I am doing everything possible on my end to keep our salon running smoothly and to continue caring for as many existing clients as we can. We have hired additional help, training is already underway, and I am working tirelessly behind the scenes every single day to rebuild our team the right way.

To those clients who have been placed on a waitlist — please know you have not been forgotten. I understand how important your pets’ grooming schedules are, and as soon as I am able, I will personally be reaching back out to get you back onto the schedule as quickly as possible.

This has been emotionally and physically exhausting, and I truly appreciate the patience, kindness, and understanding so many of you have already shown us. Small businesses feel these changes deeply, and your continued support means more than I can ever fully express.

To those waiting to become clients — we sincerely appreciate your interest and hope you’ll check back with us in the coming months once we are stable and fully staffed again.

Hey everyone 👋 I hope everyone is doing well.

I wanted to take a moment to be open and honest with all of you. As many of you know, we’ve recently gone through some staffing changes, and right now I am doing my very best to keep up with a very full schedule while continuing to give each dog the time, patience, and care they deserve.

One of the hardest parts of being a small business owner is knowing I can’t always accommodate everyone the way I wish I could. Having to limit appointments, create waitlists, or let some clients know I currently don’t have room has been extremely difficult for me.
Please know these decisions are never personal and never easy.

I truly care about each and every one of you, and I’m so grateful for the trust you place in me with your pets.
My goal has always been quality care over rushing through appointments, and sometimes that means being honest about my current capacity.

Hey everyone 👋 I hope you’re all doing well!

I wanted to share this article that came out this week about the spring “shed” we’re all starting to see. This time of year can be a lot for both pets and their owners, and I always want to be a helpful resource for you.

It’s been a challenging week for us here at the shop, but I’m choosing to stay focused on what matters most, caring for your dogs and supporting all of you the best I can. 🐶

If you ever have questions about maintaining your dog’s coat at home or in between grooms, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Educating and helping you care for your pets is one of the biggest reasons I opened my shop, and I truly care about their well-being.

Dear Mama Mia’s Pet Spaw family 🤍

We have some bittersweet news to share. Our groomer Angel will be leaving us soon.

Her mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and Angel has made the decision to be with her and support her during this time.
Family comes first, and I fully support her in taking this time to be with her mom.

As you can imagine, this is a big transition for our small team. With Angel’s departure, our availability will become much more limited. Scheduling will be booking farther out than usual, and we may need to make adjustments along the way.

Here’s what to expect moving forward:
• All future appointments will now be scheduled under Mia
• We will be focusing on small to medium dogs moving forward
• Some existing appointments may need to be rescheduled or adjusted
• You will be contacted directly if any changes affect your current booking
• We may not be able to accommodate all requests, and some clients may need to seek alternative grooming options

We understand this may be an inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this change.
