Four years ago, I took one of the biggest leaps of faith of my life and opened the doors to Mama Mia’s Pet Spaw right here in Woodland Park. 🥹

I had a dream, a lot of determination, and honestly… I had no idea where this journey would take me.

Four years later, when I look around at what Mama Mia’s has become, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. ❤️

This business has seen its share of ups and downs, changes, challenges, tears, laughter, growing pains, and some pretty incredible accomplishments. Through all of it, one thing has remained constant…

Hello Everyone 👋

I just wanted to let everyone know that the shop phone will be turned off today. If you’ve tried to call or message and haven’t heard back from me, please know that it’s not because I’m ignoring you.

Today is a very difficult day for me. I will be saying goodbye to my sweet boy Harley and helping him cross over the rainbow bridge. 💔🌈🐾

I may be preoccupied and emotional today, so I apologize in advance for any delayed responses or inconvenience. My heart just needs to be with my boy today. ❤️

We will do our very best to catch up on calls and messages later this week when we can.

💔 My sweet Harley boy… 💔

It is with the heaviest heart that I have to share that my boy Harley will be crossing the Rainbow Bridge on Monday, August 31st at 4:00 PM. 🌈🐾

Harley has been one of the greatest companions a human could ever ask for. He has been my boy, my friend, my comfort, and such a huge part of my life. I love him more than words could ever explain.

Harley has been battling multiple health issues, but the biggest one now is his skin cancer. It has progressed to the point that it is taking over his body. I have spent thousands of dollars trying to save him and make him better, and if there were something I could do that would truly save his life, I would continue fighting for him without hesitation.

But the reality is that no matter how much more I spend or how hard I fight, I cannot fix what is happening to his body. His health problems are continuing to take over, and I refuse to let the day come when he is suffering and in unbearable pain.

His vet actually told me back in December that it was time. Somehow, we were blessed with almost another year together, and for that time I will always be grateful. ❤️

But he is only 6 years old. And that is the part that hurts the most.

I feel cheated. I feel like we should have had so many more years together. I’m not ready. I don’t think I could ever be ready to say goodbye to my boy.

But loving him means putting his needs before my own, even when it completely breaks my heart. I know this is the hardest and kindest decision I can make for him.

If you would like to come say goodbye to Harley before Monday, you are absolutely welcome to. ❤️ Please just reach out to me.

He will be dearly, deeply missed by everyone who has had the privilege of knowing him.

Harley, my boy… I wish I could have fixed everything for you. I wish six years could have been sixty. I wish I didn’t have to make this decision.

Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for being one of the best companions I could have ever asked for.

I love you, Harley. More than you will ever know.

🐾 A LITTLE REMINDER FROM MAMA MIA’S PET SPAW! 🐾

Just a friendly reminder that Mama Mia’s Pet Spaw will be CLOSED Saturday, August 15th through Tuesday, August 18th. 💕🐶

We will be back in the shop and ready to take care of your furry babies on Wednesday, August 19th at 10:00 AM! ✂️🛁🐾

During our time away, our phones will be completely turned OFF. 📵

That means calls, texts, and messages will not be answered during our closure. Please don’t worry if you don’t hear back from us right away — we will get back to you when we return to the shop on Wednesday the 19th.

This little break is important to me because I’m taking some much-needed time to focus on my son and be present with him. ❤️ As a mom and a business owner, finding that balance isn’t always easy, and I’m making the choice to put my family first for these few days.

I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support of my small business. It means more to me than you know. 🥹❤️

Hello Everyone 👋 I hope everyone is doing well.

I wanted to take a moment to give everyone a little update and ask for your patience and understanding. ❤️

At this time, I am personally handling all of the phones, calls, texts, and scheduling for Mama Mia’s Pet Spaw. I don’t currently have anyone fully trained to take over these responsibilities, so right now, it all falls on me.

We have temporarily removed online booking because I want to personally schedule everyone and make sure we are staying organized and taking care of our clients properly.

That being said… sometimes the phones get overwhelming. Between grooming, helping my staff, running the day-to-day operations, answering calls, returning texts, and scheduling appointments, there are times when I simply cannot get to everyone as quickly as I would like.

If you have called or texted and I haven’t gotten back to you yet, please know that it is absolutely NOT intentional. We never want to miss anyone, and I truly hate the thought of someone feeling like we aren’t getting back to you or don’t want your business.

Please don’t give up on us. 🙏

The good news is… help is on the way! 🎉 I am currently training someone to help me with the phones, scheduling, and some of the day-to-day administrative responsibilities. It will take a little time to get everything in place and make sure they are properly trained, but I am working toward getting some much-needed help so that I can better keep up with everyone.

Many of you know some of what our business has been going through, and I am doing everything I can to keep Mama Mia’s moving forward while continuing to take care of our clients and our team.

I am doing my very best to help everyone I possibly can. If you haven’t heard back from me, please be patient and, if needed, reach out again. Sometimes a message gets buried when the phones are going crazy, and I would much rather have you remind me than think we intentionally ignored you.

I am incredibly grateful for every single one of you who continues to support Mama Mia’s Pet Spaw. Your loyalty, patience, understanding, and continued support mean more to me than you know. ❤️

Good Morning everyone 👋

I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to reach out and let everyone know that we will be closed this weekend on:

• Friday 5/22
• Saturday 5/23
• Sunday (regularly closed)
• Monday 5/25

With everything that has been transpiring, I’ve decided to take this time away from the shop to spend time with my son and allow both myself and my staff the opportunity to reset and recharge.

It’s been a bit overwhelming lately, and I’ve been doing my best to keep everything together. I truly love what I do, and I love and appreciate all of my clients so much. But sometimes life reminds us that we need to slow down and spend time with the people we love most. Their presence is what matters most, because none of us truly knows what the future holds. Hold your loved ones close ❤️

We will return to the shop on Tuesday, May 26th. During this time, our phones will be turned off while we take a much-needed break and regroup.
