🐾 Paws & Kids – a FREE guide!

🐈 “Paws & Kids: How to Take Care of Your New Pet” is a free booklet that teaches children how to safely and responsibly care for dogs, cats and rabbits. It was created by a Girl Scout Cadette for her Silver Award project.

🐾 Larissa lives in La Canada Flintridge and is a member of GSA Troop 71321. While waiting to adopt a pet at Pasadena Humane, the animal-loving 8th grader heard other kids asking questions about how to take care of their new pets and inspiration struck!

An interesting read!

We know that indoor cats live longer and have significantly lower rates of illness and injury than those that spend part or all their lives outside, and, with appropriate exercise, company, and environmental enrichment, enjoy excellent quality of life as well.
