The 21 Acres campus is a living laboratory in Woodinville, Washington where community comes together to learn and act on climate change. The LEED Platinum Certified building was one of the first LEED buildings in the greater Seattle area and is home to a learning kitchen, local foods Farm Market and distribution center, and work spaces that are integrated with the natural environment. With its eve

r-evolving environmentally-friendly features, the building hosts solar panels, a graywater treatment system, composting toilets, passive cooling and heating design, and more. Situated just 30 minutes east of Seattle in the Sammamish Valley Agricultural Production District, 21 Acres sits at the crux of urban and rural land. We're thrilled to support the new program through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). "Harvest of the Season is a comprehensive initiative to support USDA Child Nutrition Program operators incorporate foods from Washington in the kitchen, classrooms, and at home. Funded by a USDA Farm to School Grant, the Harvest of the Season toolkits include nutrition facts, recipe ideas, activities, videos and more, allowing Child Nutrition Programs the flexibility to feature what works for them." Photo 1: Look for colorful blooms and bouquets grown by our neighbor farmer Pam of Seed Folx Farm, a femme-owned, BIPOC, organic, no-till, small-scale farm located just south of 21 Acres. Their beautiful fresh cut-flowers and foliage have been available this summer in our Market, a perfect gift to give or keep!

Join us for SUMMER FAIR! We heard your requests for more fun activities, and whether you missed Pollinator Fest last month or just had so much fun you’d like a reason to come back, we’ve got you! The patio will be filled with artisan vendors, some of our neighboring farmers, tasty treats from our local bakers and makers, background sounds by Hemlock Revival, and all-around great summer vibes on the farm.

Wednesday, July 22nd from 3 to 6PM on the 21 Acres Farm Market patio, 13701 NE 171st St., Woodinville, WA.

We’ll kick-off the afternoon with a farm tour at 3pm led by Assistant Farm Manager Issy Steckel. Make sure to sign up for the tour on our website. Also, our U-Pick flower field will be open to build your own beautiful, fresh bouquet.

The biggest event of the year is here: our 4th annual Pollinator Fest happens this Saturday, May 30th from 10 to 3, and it’s going to be festive fun!

Pollinator Pathway NW has created another family-friendly, educational day at 21 Acres filled with garden and native plant tours, dozens of inspiration booths, live music, kids’ activities, a keynote speaker (topic: hummingbirds), artisan vendors, food trucks (Off the Rez and La Riviera Maya), and much more. Our Farm Market will be open and well-stocked with a colorful selection of fresh local food, picnic items and snacks, and our on-site coffee stand will be ready to take your beverage order.

All of the details can be found on the website. We’d like to extend our heartiest thanks to the incredible PPNW volunteers for planning this popular event. Their year-round community education work is generating an enduring impact in support of pollinators and our local food and ecological systems.

21 Acres will once again be buzzing with festive activities for the whole family at the fourth annual Pollinator Fest organized by Pollinator Pathway NW. There will be native plant info, organic gardening tips, a long list of inspiration booths and artisan vendors, a guest speaker, an Indigenous plant walking tour, tours of the PPNW pollinator garden on the 21 Acres campus, plus live music and food trucks.

This free Sammamish Valley community event is dedicated to pollinator education, local art, and family-friendly fun. We hope you’ll join us!

A special note about parking: 21 Acres can accommodate only a small number of vehicles, so please plan to park off-site at either the Woodinville Park & Ride or the old Molbak’s site, where a free shuttle bus will be circulating all day to transport visitors to and from 21 Acres - or you can walk the short distance. Vehicles will be allowed to drop off passengers at 21 Acres before parking off-site. Parking at 21 Acres will be reserved for vehicles with a disabled parking permit. We appreciate your understanding!
