The 21 Acres campus is a living laboratory in Woodinville, Washington where community comes together to learn and act on climate change. The LEED Platinum Certified building was one of the first LEED buildings in the greater Seattle area and is home to a learning kitchen, local foods Farm Market and distribution center, and work spaces that are integrated with the natural environment. With its ever-evolving environmentally-friendly features, the building hosts solar panels, a graywater treatment system, composting toilets, passive cooling and heating design, and more. Situated just 30 minutes east of Seattle in the Sammamish Valley Agricultural Production District, 21 Acres sits at the crux of urban and rural land. Here, we gather to talk about green energy, regenerative farming practices, local food systems, and climate solutions.

Check out the gorgeous giant pumpkins our farm team delivered to the 21 Acres Farm Market patio this afternoon! These two will compete for the heaviest pumpkin title at this Saturday’s Harvest Fest from 10 to 3.

Join us for artisan and farmer booths, live music, food and fresh-pressed apple c***r, then enjoy a stroll on the farm and out to the Sammamish Grange Heritage Garden. Free, family-friendly fun!

The 21 Acres farm team lovingly grew four giant pumpkins this season, along with a bounty of other veggies, fruits, herbs and flowers.

All hands on deck to unload the pumpkins. Will you be able to guess how much these big beauties weigh?

In preparation for Harvest Fest this Saturday, the 21 Acres Farm Market patio is packed with pumpkins and looking festive. Join the fun on Saturday - and pick out your favorite gourd to carve!🎃

Please note: parking at 21 Acres is limited, so we recommend carpooling, biking, bussing, or parking in the neighborhood and walking to the event. Many thanks to Bright Horizons, KinderCare and Advent Anglican Church for generously making their parking lots available to Harvest Fest visitors.

Harvest Fest is co-hosted by 21 Acres and Sammamish Valley Grange.

Celebrate the season with us at Harvest Fest on Saturday October 10th, 10 to 3 at 21 Acres! The Farm Market patio will feature artisan and farmer vendors, music, tasty food, apple pressing, and photo ops. We’ll have lots of pumpkins, including the giant kind, and you’ll be invited to guess the weight of those massive gourds.

This will also be a nice opportunity for you to enjoy an autumn day on the 21 Acres farm and a guided tour of the nearby Grange Heritage Garden.

We hope you’ll join us for some free, festive, family-friendly, fall fun for all ages, right here in the beautiful Sammamish Valley!

We're thrilled to support the new program through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). "Harvest of the Season is a comprehensive initiative to support USDA Child Nutrition Program operators incorporate foods from Washington in the kitchen, classrooms, and at home. Funded by a USDA Farm to School Grant, the Harvest of the Season toolkits include nutrition facts, recipe ideas, activities, videos and more, allowing Child Nutrition Programs the flexibility to feature what works for them." Summer Fair is next Wednesday, July 22nd on the 21 Acres Farm Market patio from 3 to 6 PM and will feature artisan vendors and food, plus live music. Swipe to meet a few of our vendors >>>

Photo 1: Look for colorful blooms and bouquets grown by our neighbor farmer Pam of Seed Folx Farm, a femme-owned, BIPOC, organic, no-till, small-scale farm located just south of 21 Acres. Their beautiful fresh cut-flowers and foliage have been available this summer in our Market, a perfect gift to give or keep!

Join us for SUMMER FAIR! We heard your requests for more fun activities, and whether you missed Pollinator Fest last month or just had so much fun you’d like a reason to come back, we’ve got you! The patio will be filled with artisan vendors, some of our neighboring farmers, tasty treats from our local bakers and makers, background sounds by Hemlock Revival, and all-around great summer vibes on the farm.
